Very dissappointed that it was advertised to include a breakfast buffet, but they dont have breakfast at all. This was the main reason for choosing this hotel to stay at. We wont be staying here again.

The only thing I didn't like is the rooms I rent a non-smoking room and they put me in a smoker's most of the things destroyed a horrible smell of cigarettes and the towels smell bad

They have a beautiful entry. Staff is nice. Older hotel. Could use a little updating. Carpet in room. Beds comfy. Room and bathroom clean. Hot shower was amazing!! Quiet. Nearby Restaurants and stores! If you need a place to rest your head and get a hot shower this will do just fine.

Got there and my room was not clean, bed not made up, towels on bathroom floor, water and used soap on sink, which suprised the desk person as she stated the room had not been stayed in in 3 days. Then they did not have another room...Ended up driving 30 miles of curvy unknown roads in the dark to find another hotel in Boone, NC which cost $80 more.

WARNING!!! Place was nasty, very smelly, moldy and smoke. Holes in curtains, wallpaper peeling, stained carpet, Corroded refrigerator. Door lock broke and needed someone with key to help us get in. Questionable people hanging around back door. We didn’t stay.

The fireplace in the lobby was never on, the exterior trash cans and cigarette disposal stayed full, no coffee after hours or before 5:30am so don’t wake up and want to ski or do any activities after coffee, no coffee maker or microwave in rooms, the police walked in and the desk attendant response was “what now?”.

The wifi did not work until they reset the modem an couple of times around 10:00 pm. That was a hassle as we needed to do some work. The pool is an outdoor pool with lots of problems and they have it closed until further notice. The website said they have a free breakfast, they do not have any breakfast at all. The people working the desk are great, very friendly and act like they really like being there.

What an interesting experience.....

It was strange. It was hard to get my hotel reservation because they had issues logging in. After that, they gave me 2 keys that didn't work. They couldn't program the keys, so the clerk had to use a master key to let us in our room a couple times. There were odd people walking around who turned out to be workers and staff, one was walking around with a beer in his hand. The room was recently remodeled and they're remodeling others with all of the building materials piled in the lobby. The next morning, two of us sat in the lobby while the other slept in. The .morning clerk wouldn't let us use the remote to change the lobby TV because her boss "is due in, and she likes to watch the news". Eventually she showed us the guide and allowed us to watch another channel. It was odd. Won't stay there again, even if they're the only hotel in town... It was relatively clean though.
