The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites, Los Angeles

Loud obnoxious people everywhere in the hotel. I guess cheaper rooms draw a unsophisticated crowd. Loud people up and down the halls partying till 2am. Meanwhile, LA sold a movie filming permit and we had cars racing in the streets while filmed. VERY loud. Ended at 2am.

Did not feel safe. Too many homeless roaming around along with questionable looking people outside wandering around and smoking pot outside lobby doors.

Overall it was a good stay. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the pool . I didn’t mind the reservation protocol. But when we went to the pool at our time, there was a crowd in the corner partying , drinking , music, smoking out and obviously had been there more than 2 hours . All the chairs where moved to the corner where the party was and we only had an umbrella with no chairs. I believe if there is a time restriction it should be monitored by staff so it can be fair for all of us . My kids wanted to keep swimming but our time was up and We followed the rules. Everything else was good .

Bad service stained floors sanitizer only on one floor dirty elevators & unclean pool. If you have a vehicle over 6 ft you can’t park at the hotel. Will never stay there

Hotel was just ok. Decent rooms. No microwave in room. Terrible water pressure in shower. Refrigerator in room did not get cold. Food on premises was overpriced and NOT good. Could never get front desk on phone , always busy signal when dialing.

Room was dirty. Smoke alarm in first room had a bag over it. Smelled like cigarettes and weed. Trash was left in elevators. Was not family friendly. Valet experience was good so we tipped well. Ended up being overcharged for valet parking. Will be requesting refund.

My car was lost but there was one amazing employee there who was so helpful went above and beyond Miguel you were. Great

Did not get to stay there there was no parking and construction going on

Terrible , additional $100+ charge for no reason and also had to pay $400 on despostis

First night there we found a roach in the room. We were already tired and didn’t feel like going downstairs to switch rooms because it was already one in the morning. The valet service was extremely rude and misleading about pricing telling us the first night was included but it was not so we had to argue to get a refund. The bathroom towels were cheap and sandpaper like texture as was the toilet paper. There wasn’t even a microwave in the room. For being a luxury hotel we felt like we had better service with Holiday Inn than this place. Also they weren’t cleaning the bathrooms daily and for picking a non-smoking room it always smelled like weed and cigarettes in the hallway and wafted into the room. Additionally the roads to parking were blocked off and we weren’t notified by the hotel until we got there causing a 20 minute detour because we got lost trying to find another way into the hotel parking. I don’t recommend this place at all.
