This was a business trip and the hotel was convenient. With business I choose hotels that state WiFi throughout. I need good internet for sending reports etc. These are confidential so WiFi in-common areas is no good. The room offered had no internet connection. However hotel staff did find me another room which is what I would have expected. Rooms were suitable for one night we ate in the hotel and dinner was very good. Breakfast was good but would have liked my tea in a tea pit and not a tea bag in a cup. Also no side plates so toast buttered on main breakfast plate. Yes picky but at £98.80 per night I don’t think I am being too picky b

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I was made to feel like a local! In the main the food was standard pub grub with a little variation Curry night on Wednesday. Room was comfortable and clean, but with little hanging space for clothes.
