It’s not really 4-star but they call themselves that, and get away with it as in Bosnia, laws, other rules and regulations are never enforced. And they know it...
Problem is it’s not really fair on the hotels that really are 4-star.
If they had of been honest enough to call themselves three-star I would be happy to give a good review but i’d rather tell the truth if they’re not prepared to.
For a three star hotel it is more than fine, nice and clean friendly staff and pleasant. The room is so small you cannot swing a cat, the shower is unacceptable. And the breakfast finishes at 9 o’clock seems like they did it on purpose so that nobody actually wakes up on time to eat any of it.
Next time in Sarajevo I’ll try somewhere else.
It was not terrible, but it I just get irritated when they lie about the star ratings in countries like Bosnia, and nothing becomes of it. Or when they think they’ll be smart and try to save money by stopping the breakfast at 9 AM. They don’t seem to think long term about a little short term money saving intention while they’re padding themselves on the back. It is just the mentality in the Balkans... the next generation will change it.
