This was a horrible, and very upsetting experience due explicitly to the front desk representative, Joseph D. I am a Best Western Rewards member, and go out of my way to stay at their hotels. My family & I are currently driving from Oregon to Ohio. We’ve had pleasant experiences at our Best Western stays until tonight. Joseph D was so rude to me at check in, that to call his behavior rude would be too kind. He was cruel, and extremely insensitive. I’ve lodged an official complaint with corporate Best Western, and will be speaking to the manager at this Best Western, Barbara Cutty, tomorrow morning when she is in. Hopefully, she will take this matter seriously, and take the appropriate action to remedy it. Joseph D’s cruel and insensitive behavior concerned a service animal and his questioning and mean remarks around the disability our dog is needed for. Outside of that, Joseph D was arrogant, snappy, and argumentative. While the hotel is nice, minus the fact that only one of the elevators is working, I would not recommend this particular Best Western. In fact, avoid it at all costs if Joseph D is working. If proper action isn’t taken, this will be the last time I stay at any Best Western, and I have been a decades long customer. An update : No manager or anyone from BW has been in touch. We will be staying at The Drury Inn for the remainder of this trip, and will be switching our reward membership to them. BW just lost a damn good customer.
Hotel is showing its age- staff were very friendly - beds were comfy. Only one elevator worked but it was adequate. Took forever to get hot water in shower. Air conditioner worked great!
Good place... Still in progress with the remodel but was not bad overall. The breakfast was good. Enter/Exiting the facility onto main road was a challenge.
Service counter was abandoned. No contact available other than calling an 800 number, which sent me to the reservation line. I had to be on hold while listening to the phone ring at the desk. After 45 minutes of this I left.
Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean room. Comfortable bed. However, after 12 hours on the road I was looking forward to a hot shower but there was no hot water - only got luke warm. Condition of room was clean but showing wear - ceiling paint peeling in Bathroom. Prior experiences with BW hotels lead me to have higher expectations.
