Was really busy but not hotels fault

We loved their indoor water park -- perfect for our 7yr old & 5 yr old! Our room was clean, breakfast was great, the beds were ok for comfort (we're spoiled at home with our memory foam mattress) & staff were friendly!

We had high hopes for a night here as a surprise for our kids. We are very dissatisfied. The check in was slow due to the employees taking over the phone reservations and trying to check people in at the same time. Our room backed up to the pool area and was uncomfortably loud. The walls are so thin that we could hear every conversation had in the rooms next to ours. We are used to hotel rooms but this had absolutely no privacy. Our climate control system pulled in air from the pool area which smelled of straight chlorine. The pool area was fun for kids but not very clean. Again I understand it’s a pool area but the chlorine was intense. We counted about 8 bandaids floating around the pool in our one night stay. The hotel staff said they didn’t allow parties but there were tons and I mean TONS of people camped out with crock pots and decorations. The crowds of people were not very comfortable to be around. The hotel is under construction which wasn’t too big of a deal and didn’t seem to cause any distruptions. The best recommendation for anyone’s stay would be to absolutely avoid the breakfast. The area is so small there isnt enough room to sit. Also the food looked almost inedible. We decided to skip the HUGE line and go get breakfast at McDonalds. I’ve never given a one star review but this hotel was a complete disappointment.
