Mickey Bourke's Koroit Hotel

Facility is not good to serve as a hotel. Many things can be done to maintain the old style but improved facility to make guests comfortable.

Wotif failed to tell me that the hotel didn’t provide private bathrooms, so I was appalled to learn that they were communal for $180 a night. The whole place smelled strongly of dust and we were kept up late by live performances one floor below. The bed was comfortable but while the sheets were white, the quilt was floral, and white linen is the golden rule for hospitality, to ensure cleanliness. I forgot my towel in the bathroom and found it over twelve hours later where I left it, which makes me wonder whether the bathrooms are cleaned between people.

Down to earth period charm, a tad on the cluttered side, very accommodating and pleasant staff, a fair price for this area and type of accommodation.

Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming pub but accommodation area needs some decluttering and freshening up.

We booked the property due to the rating online. This proved to be very deceiving. The bed was uncomfortable, room was extremely dusty and the odour was horrible.
