This is a very charming, clean, and functional space in a lively neighborhood. Our experience was positive all the way around. The owners live upstairs and were very helpful and accommodating. We traveled by foot to and from here at all times of day and night without incident. Light sleepers might want to bring earplugs, as spaces here are small and neighbors are close by.

Love the location, it's in the center of everything, 8-min walk to the train station and near all major sites. Chris is a great host, very helpful in everyway. He even helped us with laundry.

Steps up to room would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. Chris, our host, made sure we did not have to carry our luggage at any time. Interesting old building in the middle of Amsterdam. Easy walking to city centre and close to transport. Thanks Chris.

Good location and helpful hosts. Great location a 10-minute walk from Centraal. Stairs were very narrow, so could be an issue if you have mobility issues.

We liked our stay at Sunflower. The host was excellent, and we appreciated his availability for help or advice if we needed it. The steps were steeper than I was used to, but there were two excellent handrails, and I was able to navigate with care, even with bags.

Wir hatten wirklich einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem Apartment von Chris. Kühlschrank, Besteck, Föhn, Glätteisen, Duschgel und sogar ein paar Kleinigkeiten zum naschen waren bereitgestellt. Wir hatten das kleinere Zimmer vorne zur Straße gebucht und waren mit dieser Entscheidung voll und ganz zufrieden. Der Bahnhof sowie die Innenstadt sind ganz entspannt innerhalb von ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Das einzige was man bei einer Buchung vielleicht beachten sollte ist, dass die Treppe hoch zu den Zimmern sehr steil und eng ist. Dies könnte für Menschen mit einer körperlicher Beeinträchtigung eventuell schwierig werden. Ansonsten kann ich jedem nur empfehlen hier zu buchen, vielen Dank an Chris - wir werden definitiv wiederkommen ! :-)
