Rosen Inn, closest to Universal

So happy to have this hotel back. It was our "go to" hotel for stays when we come down. It will be again. The staff is very welcoming and inviting. They were so nice when I asked for an early check in. The only problem was the AC. It wouldn't stay on long enough to cool the room completely. Other than that, fabulous. Love it and we will be back.

The property was gated and the staff were all very friendly. Check in and check out was quick. The hotel was nice, clean, and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again. The woman at the travel desk was really nice and struck up a conversation with me.

Good clean room and hotel over all. Great price. Great pool. Very pleasant employees...didn’t matter who we encountered. Located in a great spot on the strip without to much commotion but still walking distance to the busier half. Will definitely be my go to in the future.

Overall a good hotel. Due to covid the restaurants aren’t open during the week. Nice size room, nice outside pool, & little fitness center. About 5-10 minutes from Doctor Phillips and Icon Park by car. Can’t complain when paying $50-60+ a night

Nice, clean, safe hotel. Only stayed one night so we didn’t use any amenities, but the hotel was great! It’s in a busy area, close to everything. We felt safe with the parking security. Will stay again!!

It was a quick two night stay with my teenage boys to visit Sea World and it was perfect, clean, quick service and it met our needs, been here before and can reliably say I will come back again and again, price perfect as well.

I make exceptions to service during the covid pandemic. However, the Rosen at Pointe Orlando was a horrible experience. 1. I was originally booked at the Rosen Inn closest to Universal for five days. The property was closed, so without my consent and a week before traveling, my reservation was moved to the Rosen at Pointe Orlando. No change in price, no room upgrade for my trouble, nothing. 2. I was told daily maid service was reduced to once every 4 days. If I wanted towels I could call for them, but unless this is the 4th day, you make your own bed. 3. By the 5th day there was still no maid service. I called the front desk and was told the room will be cleaned upon my departure! 4. The only food available on the property came pre-packaged at the 7-11 type store (featuring soft drinks, potato chips, candy, and the like). A "hot" breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuit and potatoes) was pre-made for $7.00 if you wanted something that wasn't filled with sugar. 5. Property was dirty around and in the rooms. Water pressure from the show dripped at a trickle. Toilet takes 3-4 minutes to refill until you can flush it again. Beds were soft like an old mattress and uncomfortable. Room air conditioning was loud and rattling. I travel to Orlando frequently and this was my first encounter with a Rosen property. It was also my last. Never again.

I arrived at the Rosen Inn closest to Universal to find it was closed. It has been closed for months but they have still been accepting reservations. When I arrived a security guard directed me to the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando where I checked in and stayed without incident. No one apologized or even commented on the relocation. This wasn't a huge deal, but it was annoying I drove past the Point Orlando on my way to my original destination and then had to back track to where I was actually staying. Advance notice would have been much better. I have given neutral reviews since I didn't stay at the property and I do not wish to review the Pointe Orlando here. (It was fine). There is an ongoing pandemic, but they really shouldn't be taking reservations for a closed hotel and then letting you find out only when you show up.
