Inexpensive and nice staff.
The owners were very nice and helpful. The hotel was very quiet when we stayed, which was Monday through Friday. It's a simple, inexpensive place to lay your head in between fun outings.

Below average
The beds were comfortable, had 3 TVs, but the door to second room was missing (looked like it had been knocked/kicked down), the bathroom sink leaked onto floor below and the stopper did not work (stuck down), no safety latch on door; only coffee maker in room nothing else, no cups or coffee makings, the breakfast was only cereal, waffles, and packaged sweet rolls, only 1 12 pot of coffee, not marked decaf or not, arrangement of items were not convenient (coffee creamer & sugar on another counter). The staff were very nice and helpful, got extra sheet when asked.

Bad in need of updating.
I know it costs$ to renovate but soap and H2o and a little muscle would go a long way. Black grime on doors around handle and on door casings. Roaches in bathroom are 2 big ones not enough space to list it all. To put the icing on the cake the manager didn't even apologize when we only stayed one nite and cancelled the other 3 even after being told about the problems.

Our room was infested with roaches.someone stole my wedding rings and our neighbors were loudd and banging on wallls all night.

It was okay, nothing more
First of all, thanks to hotels.com screwing up and not notifying this hotel that we had booked a reservation, we arrived after an 8 hour drive to discover that we didn't even have a reservation here! Thanks hotels.com! >:-( However, they did fortunately have one room left so we weren't left scrambling to find something else an hour before sunset. It was okay, not great. On the plus side, room was clean, good air condition once it finally got going, hot water, decent Wifi connection. Pool not much bigger than a bathtub but you get what you pay for. On the minis side, continental breakfast was a joke, no stopper was available so someone could take a bath if they wanted (WHY can hotels not manage this?! especially at the beach when you have a child covered with sand!). Husband who knew answers to questions generally not on site, and wife who was trying to help but clueless left to wait on him to call her with answers. Stopper for tub finally located, but guess what, it didn't fit the tub! And this wasn't the motel's fault, but wait for the ferry took a long time and didn't make it worth the $30 bucks or so we saved to stay there instead of in Port Aransas.

Would not stay there again.
The picture you show on Expedia must have been taken years ago. Very run down, trash everywhere. I can say it was quite at night and the staff did their jobs. Just not worth even the low price Expedia had for them. Expedia might should take a look at these hotels in person before working with them. We travel to Rockport on a pretty regular schedule, but we will look more closely before booking again.

Good for Work, not vacation.
It was okay. Just okay. My room did smell like wet mold, but it is what it is. Good for work type stays, but I would never make my wife stay here. WiFi worked well. Free "breakfast" was non-existent. If you stay here though you have to go eat a Mickeys, just google it. It was AWESOME!
