We had a great stay !
We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms(river side) which were very nice & spacious. All staff (especially the concierge team)was top friendly and helpful. Late checkout no problem!

The check in took 45 minutes. The guy at the reception did not have a room to offer .He had to go & check with his manager. I asked him to give an upgrade which he flatly refused citing my booking conditions. Wednesday the room service gave me food & strangely on Thursday the room service does not attend calls & seemed they were closed. Absolutely strange for a 5 star category hotel if they are .Was tired however had to come down & have food from the bar.

Such a let down....no-one cares
I was disappointed for breakfast in the restaurant that a man in a suit was resetting the tables without spraying or wiping them down with a clean cloth. At reception when I asked for someone to get me the restaurant supervisor I was told it was him. three people on the floor and no-one wiping a table down. Just disgusting. Then I was lied to twice at reception desk. When checking out I went to claim our luggage and the guy on the desk said Oh it's outside someone will help you out there" 30 seconds he comes outside and helps some body else who is younger than me and doesn't require the walking stick I needed. Over the last 10 years or so we have stayed in this hotel over 25 times and referred to it as our Singapore home, however I will never ever set foot into that place again
