I chose this very basic hotel near the airport because the hotel said I could store my large suitcase there while I was at the beach for 10 days. I had specifically called the hotel and asked them this question before I booked and they assured me that this would be no problem. When I checked out enroute to the beach, I told the woman at the front desk that I would be back in 10 days to stay overnight and pick up my suitcase. She said this was fine. I then said the same thing to the concierge who stored my bag. At no point was any money mentioned. When I returned and went to get my suitcase, they initially told me that I owed money for every day for 11 days. When I balked, then they said they don't offer this service. When I explained that I had talked to the hotel before I booked and to the front desk, they said the reservations staff were not really part of their company ??? At this point, I became a little perturbed and expressed my dissatisfaction. In the end, I wasn't charged but I was not happy. In addition, both times I stayed, the locks on the windows/sliding doors in my rooms didn't lock, which was worrisome for a solo female. The first time I was there I thought it was a fluke and asked them to fix it. The second time I stayed I didn't realize the sliding door to my balcony did not lock until midnight, when I was too tired to deal with it. So, the balcony door was open all night. When I mentioned it to the front desk the next morning, they seemed unconcerned.
