Siletz Bay Lodge

With our current year with Covid, we just had to get away and relax. Checkin was great. Our room was on the 4th floor and we brought tons of stuff to settle in, in a town where everything is closed due to Covid. The elevator is broken. Not only did it take many trips to get all of our stuff up there but we have a dog. Taking a puppy out from the 4th floor was an adventure. I noticed right away the bathroom door on the inside and the outside had a hite film smeared across it. I brought paper towels and cleaned it after I took pictures. I turned the fan on in the bathroom and it proceeded to make a horrific noise. My husband opened the fan casing to see if he could fix and then commented that it was in horrible need of cleaning. We just could not use the fan. We settled in, got take out from Mo's and I tried to connect with WiFi. No connection. I called down to the desk about 4 times, no answer. I finally walked down 4 flights and the lady at the desk said she would connect me with her connection. She took my phone and said it should work now. I went back up, no connection. It was New Years Eve. The room next to us partied till 4:45am. I knocked on the connecting door and asked them to please quiet down as it was 2:15am. They did not . I tried calling down but no one answered the phone. We were so tired that day. Every night we were there the frig hummed off and on a high pitched sound. I never noticed this during the day. We loved our view.

Great service but the beds are so hard. Also the place could use some updating. The elevator was out twice while we were there but a repairman was called promptly. Nice clerk put a mattress pad on our bed the second night but it was still very stiff. Beautiful views and you can walk to Mo’s. Bring your own mattress topper.

We loved the location of the property - right on the bay with a wonderful view of the bay and ocean from our balcony. Room was on the bigger side, lots of room to move and furniture to sit on inside and out. Easy walking distance to coffee shop, restaurants and other shops. Our check in was great; staff person very helpful. Glad she asked about the upgrade to a balcony room - well worth the little extra. Bed was a bit firmer than we are used to, but when you are not at home, you get what you get. Overall great experience, we will be back.

Wonderful friendly staff, room and view were beautiful! We stayed 3 nights. The only drawback was that the beds are very firm. Otherwise fantastic experience, we will be back!

It was really nice and pleasant. The only thing was the bed was really uncomfortable. But other than that, we loved waking up to the beach and a beautiful morning! Staff was super friendly!!

Our stay was excellent the only issue I had is that they allow smoking right outside the entrance to the hotel. Non-smoking hotel but you can smoke right outside not even a foot away.

Truly enjoyed our stay. Very clean and quiet. Wonderful bay and ocean view from our room. Easy and close beach access. Bed was much more firm than we prefer and when my husband mentioned this to the front desk, we had a mattress topper delivered to our room, before he made it back himself! This made the bed much more comfortable. We will be back.

One of the owners that checked us in was sarcastic and fun. We were running a little behind on checking in and she gave us a call to make sure we were planning on coming. I thought that was nice of them to check on us.

Gorgeous sunset views from the room. Beach out the back door. Moes right next door!
