FairBridge Inn, Suites & Outlaw Conference Center Kalispell

This was a very pleasant surprise hotel. The reviews were not glowing, but the location was close to Glacier Park, the other hotels in the area were much more expensive or had really bad reviews. We drove around looking at the hotels before booking and this really is a nice hotel. Yes, it's dated, but everything was clean and kept up. I don't care if the carpet is old as long as it's clean. We liked it here so much, we stayed an additional night. NOTE: request ref/microwave, the room on our second night did not have either.

The gym is not even operational there was only one machine that was broken

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It’s older, but overall well kept. My room was small but clean and comfortable. I arrived earlier than expected, and was allowed to check in early. It was very close to some good restaurants and shops, and a easy drive to Glacier National Park. Only criticisms are no one wore masks, despite signs on the doors stating they were required. During my stay, I didn’t see one employee or guest wear a mask, besides me. Also, I had a severe headache one night, and asked if there was Tylenol available somewhere. The guy at the desk, responded with a flat “no”, without even looking at me. I work in customer service, and expect a little better than that, even if he couldn’t meet my need.

The people here were kind and helpful but the hotel is very old and not in good condition. The room we stayed in had a clean fresh bed but the rest of the room was disgusting. Very dirty, paint peeling from the bathroom walls and it smelled like someone cooking grease. I would not recommend this place.

We did like this place. We found it to be very quiet and clean room. The hotel is older and a little dark but still nice. The main issue is the laundry machines are completely broken, when I called the front desk about it they stated the maintenance was working on it, however we were there for a full 7 days and located right next to the machines - we never once saw anybody working on it nor did the machines ever look different and never were fixed our entire stay. I dont think they have any intention of fixing those so keep that in mind. The water from the faucet also had a strange white residue so we only used bottled water for everything. We did not see any weird/scary people around nor did we feel unsafe anytime as some other reviews stated. We would stay again for a budget place to stay.

At one time this place might have been the cream of the crop. but not now. It's dirty. Smells of smoke to the point that I had the manager come to the room and smell because I didn't want to go thru the hassle of trying to explain why it smelled. Carpets are old and worn and dirty. Postage stamp sized towels that are rough. Bed lumpy. Lighting is dim all over the property. The parking lot is full of water filled holes. Person who checked us in had on a dirty smelly shirt that was untucked. Pack of smokes in his shirt pocket. Gave the attitude that he didn't care if we were staying there.

Clean and comfortable.
