Best Western Castillo Del Sol

Cleanliness of the room good , exept glass sliding door and balcony dirty, and stairs very dirty. Comfortable bed. I hope you can use the stairs, is 1 elevator working and you can wait at least 10 minutes for ir (building is only 4 o 5 floors) Door lock from pool to stairs don't work well Room 217 Ocean View is a JOKE, maybe if you get out in the tiny are able to see some Breakfast attendant very helpful and plesant

I was surprised that there was no microwave in the room, this is the first place I have stayed that didn’t have one. Our sliding door would not open, had to have someone come fix it. Two elevators for the entire hotel and one was broken the entire stay. Long waits. No housekeeping service, you have to take your dirty towels and sheets down to the lobby and then get more, make your own bed. This wasn’t mentioned when room was booked. Bag breakfast, didn’t even bother with it. Every time we talked to other guests, they had negative things to say about their stay. The parking was underneath the building but it was not easy because trying to get out was difficult because no way to turn around.

Not clean carpet nasty with stains bathroom doors nasty all mirrors have spots. Patio glass hand prints everywhere. Only 1 elevator works and very slow.

Worst hotel ever. More like a MOTEL. When we arrived to check-in we ware told that there would be no house keeping. And we had booked a week. So we had to cleanup for ourselves. When we needed towels and washcloths we had to take the soiled ones down to the front desk and get clean ones. But within the midle of the week they ran out of washcloths so we had to buy our own. I wouldn't have written this review had we not paid $190.00 per night. But for that price i expected way more. And to top it off, there was only one elevator working for the whole time we were there. We were better off staying at a motel for that kind of service. For the price that they are charging, they need to step up their game.way up. I will never put my family through this again by staying here. They should stop false advertising. PS. I think i deserve some of my money back.

Nice view of the beach. Staff friendly. Room clean would have done 5 star. But elevator was busy with only 1 in use. And pool was freezing

This was the worse experience I have ever had with a Best Western. First, the check in staff was not very welcoming at check in BUT I can’t say they were rude either. It’s like you had to pull information out of her like parking options, how to get to your room and complimentary breakfast hours. Rooms need major upgrades. I spent an hour cleaning and disinfecting before we even got in room and settled. Tub/shower was nasty and carpet had old nasty stains all over the carpet floor that held an odor. No hot water the whole stay. Toilet seat broke literally off the hinges on one side. Elevator broke on first night and the parking was a joke. Not enough parking for the guest that were there. I will NEVER visit this place again.

Older hotel

I come to stay at this hotel 3 to 4 times a year. N i love it, very comfortable, very clean. The only 1 thing some guest smile in the their rooms n we have to go inside. But other then that excellent.

Front Desk personnel were very professional, friendly & helpful (espeically Ali). Property needs TLC/Maintenance. Maintenance provided good service when we had toilet lid loose, they were there in 5 minutes and fixed it. Even though marketing states sanitizer is throughout the property, we were there for a week and told the front desk that sanitizer was empty at every station / by elevators.

We enjoy our stay so much we’ve booked for April, May, August. If prices were cheaper in June and July we’d book then also. We love it there.
