Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal - All Inclusive

Long wait times to check in. Most of the restaurants aren’t open during the week. No enforced COVID guidelines for the buffet

My family and I absolutely loved the shows and food! It was a perfect getaway. The service was great and very polite. We will definitely be coming back here.

The people at this resort are great...really made the trip for us.I would probably not describe as luxury, our room was a bit outdated although very clean. A few things that frustrated us the most was when we tried to make restaurant or spa reservations the phone kept ringing and there was no answer. At different times of day calling many times. Overall the check in and front desk snd concierge staff seemed a bit disorganized and gave us different directives.

Good resort good for kids and family. Friendly staff and helpful

Place made feel safe and almost like going to a "Fantasy" island where every thing need is within the compund. We feel pampered with food, drinks, smiles and cheers.

I like the pools and the Wonderful host. Also people who works there are very kind and that entertainment is awesome great too.

Great staff, nice room, great buffet, good location

Nice welcome snack in room waiting for us. Easy check in and out. Lots of bars, the French restaurant was quite tasty and service was well spaced for covid times. Pools were a little cold, but it’s winter after all.

Excelente servicio, la playa hermosa, pas instalaciones excelentes, la unica queja que tengo es que pague por un cuarto con vista al mar y no lo era, cuando pedi que me cambiaran de habitacion me dijeron que no habia disponible hasta un dia antes de mi check out! Me parecio falta de respeto conmigo como huesped, por todo lo demas no tengo queja!

I am going to rate between Bahia Akumal vs Bahia Tulum. 1. Rooms are out dated in Bahia Akumal. 2. But the staffs in both places are super friendly. A 3. Liquors and buffets/a la carte restaurants are in need to improve in bahia akumal, since the a la carte retaurants and buffets sections in bahia tulum are much better,since they have more varieties. However, not many staffs to walk around the pool or beach to get us drink in bahia tulum, so we have to come to the bar to get it. Overall, i am happy during our stayed with Bahia Principe Akumal.
