Never again, be warned!
The hotel reviews do not match the experience we had for our stay, so be warned!
The bed and mattress left my body a wreck. You could hear and feel every single spring in the decades old and worn mattresses. Had to concoct a makeshift pillow top using extra duvet covers to be able to survive and sleep each night.
The hotel lobby and breakfast area is way too small and always jam packed for the over 250 rooms this hotel operates. There are always 4 to 5 tour busses a day moving groups by the hordes in and out.
Breakfast food options always spot on, but the amount of people at breakfast was astounding. The only quiet time is 30-45 minutes before closing. If you decide this hotel is for you, keep this in mind.
Typical to most European buildings, there are only 2 miniscule elevators, that barely fit 2 people and their luggage. You'll be taking the stairs often, and likely without issue, if you are on the lower floors.
The ONLY redeeming qualities for the hotel were the exceptional blackout drapes, the extreme closeness to the train station and the breakfast food options.
The abandoned parking lot beside the building is also unsightly. There is furniture and other large garbage items collecting. We saw kids there every night building garbage forts.
Do not be bamboozled by the high reviews or photos. This is not the type of experience you want to be dealing with on holiday, certainly not for more than 1 night.
