I was disappointed with several aspects of my stay. The room had an unpleasant lingering smell that made the environment uncomfortable. The slippers provided were clearly reused and not properly sanitised—they appeared very old and seemed to be recycled between guests rather than replaced.
Despite having a small kitchenette and washing machine, there were no basic dishes, cutlery, or even simple wine glasses, making the kitchenette essentially unusable. The bathroom was also poorly maintained—the basin pop-up was not cleaned properly and did not function correctly. In addition, there was no shower door separating the shower from the toilet area, causing water to splash across the bathroom floor after every shower.
The room included a balcony, which contributed to a higher rate, but it was not cleaned and had no furniture, making it impractical to use.
The hotel staff did not particularly offer warm or friendly greetings, but they were helpful and efficient when assisting me with a lost item I accidentally left in the room, which I appreciated.
Overall, the lack of hygiene, poor maintenance, and absence of essential amenities did not meet expectations and affected the quality of the stay, although I do acknowledge the staff’s assistance with my lost property.
