Kontokali Bay Resort & Spa

An amazing hotel experience from start to finish, from the people who takes your bag to the kind staff at reception where nothing was too much to ask. All the staff had masks on all the time and the room was disinfected before our arrival with signs to prove it and things being sealed up. We felt safe the entire time and in my opinion this looked like the best hotel on the island. If I ever go to Corfu again, this is the place that I will be staying!

The resort is a 15 minutes ride away both from the airport and from Corfu Old Town, so very easy to reach. The setting is almost perfect. The lobby is very open and airy and leads to a big pool, which overlooks a beautiful green and hilly bay. Stairs lead to two small but nice private sandy beaches. The water is calm, warm and for ca. 50 meters into the sea not deep, so ideal for small children. There is a restaurant and a deck with sunbeds in the middle between the two beaches, and a pier for boats which offer excursions. Very nice set up. It looks in reality just like it looks on the hotel website. We had a family suite overlooking the marina on the opposite side of the beach, with a very big balcony. We didn't miss anything in the suite. Breakfast is good, and the very varied dinner buffet at the same location ("Horizon") as well, even though the atmosphere at night feels more like sitting in a canteen. However, there are two more upscale restaurants in the same complex. Staff is polite, friendly and competent. Nothing to complain. Only exception: The service at the "Marina Food Court", located between the two beaches, is exactly the opposite of the rest of the hotel: Unfriendly and incompetent. Even when the place is empty, the employees would rather chat among themselves than attending the guests. There is also a gym which is well equipped, plus a tennis court.

It’s a good hotel in a lovely spot. Beds are a bit on the hard side, fridge didn’t work at all, air con couldn’t be adjusted and the room was too hot at night. Only info about hotel facilities was on a phone app, and my phone was broken, or via reception, and the reception staff were not always very helpful. Some fine, one or two crossed the line from sullen to rude.

This place is amazing, the service is very good, the food is delicious, the spa facility is very nice and the beach is like a pool. Also is very close to the city about 15 min by car and it has parking inside the hotel. Definitely a place to.come back.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The private beach was great for our 2-year-old daughter. The water was very warm, with little to no waves and barely any rocks. The pool was also great because it offered lots of shade throughout the day (with sunny spots too). The food was really good as well. The hotel staff went above and beyond with following COVID regulations at all times. As well, the in-room babysitting was great! The two younger women who provide the in-room babysitting were so great and clearly love kids! It was so comforting knowing that my daughter was in great hands (I obviously would not have left her otherwise). They communicated with me all night to keep me updated on my daughter. They were great and really made the trip extra relaxing for me and my husband. I would love to go again!

Excellent stay. Very relaxing. Clean room (amazing shower pressure). Good variety of breakfast choices, well cooked and well presented. Friendly staff. Throughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending KBH

Excellent location with private beach and pool. Room (sea view bungalow) was spacious and modern and the view from the terrace amazing. Friendly staff, huge choice breakfast buffet with excellent quality products.
