First, the positive things about the hotel is that it is quiet and appears new.
I have never had this happen before but when checked in and given the keys, I entered the room only to see that the room had not been cleaned at all and the key cards for the room were lying on the table. I had to go back downstairs and get a new room.
The room had the a/c thermostat set at 76 and was hot. The thermostat was a new model that when I turned it down to 71, nothing happened. It flashed the message "Wait" and I waited a full 5 minutes while it continued to flash and no a/c came on. I moved the control from auto to high and still waited. I called the front desk and someone came to the room to check it. Just as they got there, the a/c began running. It would only cool if left on high which meant it would not turn off. The room was not adequately cooling. Then the TV would turn off on it's own. I would turn it back on, and it would work for a few minutes and then turn back off. This happened about 10 times with sometimes having to wait a full minute before it would turn back on. Again I called the front desk and he didn't know why it was doing that and offered to move us. We were unpacked and didn't want to change rooms. I just wanted to leave the next morning and never come back
