Jaz Fanara Resort

I have mixed feelings. If you don’t like cruise ships, you won’t like this hotel. Only one dining option every night. NO WIFI IN THE ROOMS! And spotty WiFi at best in the lobby. It was also very loud until around midnight every night. Loud music and people over a PA system. The snorkeling was amazing. The pool is nice. The all inclusive alcohol was great.

Amazing location right on the cliff with its own beach. Reception staff could be better, but all other staff (bar, waiting, animation, cleaners, security) were excellent. Second time here and love It!

Everything was more than perfect. Perfect landscape and beach view. The food needs more variety but it tastes very good. The barman on beach Mohamed el Said is very nice and all the staff was friendly and keeps a smile on face all the time. I definetly recommend it and it will go there once again for sure.

I've stayed at over 20 different hotels in Sharm and Jaz Fanara is still head and shoulders above the next best. The staff here are the most welcoming of any hotel, nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile and for no ulterior motive - they really care. The Superior rooms are spacious and the air conditioning units usually work too well. The food is of a very high standard and currently La Gazella restaurant is Al la carte. The house reef is great for snorkeling and easy access from the beach and because it's at the tip of Om El Sid it is protected from the winds and waves - I'm currently writing this from another hotel near Nabq and the Red Flag is up preventing any snorkeling off the pontoon.

I stayed in this hotel in Feb 2018 for 6 days, 5 nights. Excellent location, very close to Naama bay. Food is very good and very tasty. Many varieties , good quality. I d say it is above a 4 stars expectations. Professional and friendly staff. Hotel facility is good for 4 stars, heated pool, bars in good locations. Gym need to be improved, one moderate machine. Major design omission is that there is no washrooms by the beach side, you have to go up to the pool level which is not practical. Same for towels kiosk, there is no one on the beach. Beach is inclined, not comfortable for long stay. May be it need to be flattened. We reserved " saver rooms" which was really not good. Old furniture, small space, using keys not cards, old TV, interior design is poor. My room the telephone was not working and for 5 days hotel could not fix it. Water circulation is also poorly working. I would not recommend at all these Saver Rooms. Other ones look good. No parking available inside. It is outside the hotel. The hotel provides good quality coffee. It seems that the facility area ( like lobby, lobby bar) is not large and wide enough to receive high number of guests. We had a space issue in some evenings though occupation in the hotel was not that high. Overall, we had a great time and I'd recommend this hotel.
