The Good: The motel is conveniently located. It’s an easy 5 min walk to the beach. Sits just at the top of the main beach drag and across from a Walgreens. The staff was delightful. The master bedroom & bed were surprisingly very comfortable. The room is equipped with all basic necessities that are needed for a lengthy stay. Including larger refrigerator. Heat Pump to quickly cool room on hot days. Cute outdoor seating area for relaxing, eating or people watching. The grounds are clean. Pool is clean & well kept. 2 closets to hide clutter.
The Needs improvement or may be a no go for some: The bathroom is SMALL. I think a larger person would find it difficult to move in it. It reminded me of a camper/RV bathroom, there is zero countertop space, but it was clean! The hotels parking area is not marked. Just pull in by office to unload & they will point out where it is. The TV’s are slow due to the internet connectivity (not a huge deal for us, as we were there for the beach and activities outside the motel). Pool hours are 10-10 which makes you unable to use pool prior to check out which would’ve been a bummer if you have children that wake up eager to swim. The pool is Tiny, but it is in a courtyard so that’s to be expected, it is very clean & well maintained.
We stayed in a 2 room suite 1 room had a futon and the other a full/queen size bed. We were 1 adult & 2 sixteen year olds. Not much more would fit in our suite comfortably.
Overall we would stay here again!
