Really beautiful hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic pool area and cosy outdoor breakfast arrangement. Bed was a bit worn out, and the toilets are not really able to flush..they told us new toilets would be delivered within few months. Overall, in spite of beds and toilets, really recommendable hotel if you want a peaceful and relaxing experience.

The staff was extremely friendly and courteous! Alex the manager was present and clearly interested in making the guests happy.

This is a great hotel, great people working there, good locación ( near several beaches, places to shop and restaurants) and nice breakfast. We had VIP+ treats ( early check-in and late check out, aswell as free drinks)but not room up grade. We did not like the bed, we develop backache ( I was available to feel the springs), and they have a open gym, full of bugs ( I hate them, and it took me 10 minutes every day just cleaning them in order to use them). It is still a place we would return to (this is our second time here), as the staff is always trying to make our stay pleasent and these are mistakes that can be quickly corrected

Decent hotel, but not at all worth the price. There are better places closer to downtown. With the price I expected it to be much nicer but it was just a 3-star place. Expedia way overcharged for the hotel.

There was mosquitos especially at night. The hotel had paper thin walls and you could hear everything going on outside. Staff was very nice and could speak English. The breakfast was disappointing for such a nice hotel. I noticed on two of the days I went to breakfast at 8am every morning and they were missing items and the food was not prepared on time. It is family friendly and the master suite was nice. The wifi worked great oustide with the mosquitos but was terrible inside the room. It wasn’t that bad but I won’t go back there again. Also they advertise on as a VIP for Expedia. They didn’t give me any VIP treatment and did not offer to upgrade my room or mention it at all. The hotel was not full either. They did Accomadate for a child with a crib in the room though which was nice.

Everything about the hotel, the services, the food, drinks, hotel employees was exceptional. I had room 5 and it was perfect. I went horseback riding on Caravelas Beach with a tour that came and picked me up, and that was great too.

Half of the rooms have absolutely no views ...i asked for a rate to upgrade and never reeived a response despite it was empty .... AC started leaking in the middle of the night and we had to switch rooms at that time .rooms 14 and 16 have water stains on walls and mildew around Ac area confirms this is an ongoing issue ... Do not leave any kind of food even for short periods of time since rooms are full of tiny ants. They even went inside our luggage .Same morning we asked for check out extension of 1 hour and we were denied despite again, hotel was empty . Theres a pave hill of 200 meters to enter hotel , so this limits walking to downtown for some people .... theres no Gym except for some weights and a rusty bike .....good breakfast . Hotel has a lot of potential

Excellent hotel in very good location. Within walking distance to town centre and many beaches. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was lovely and spacious, balcony was very pleasing. Breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh fruit and cakes. Enough room to relax at pool.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. The room was not very clean and the breakfast buffet was not up to standard in terms of cleaning, hygiene and food conditions. The pool area is stunning a part the amount of mosquitos that bite you all over the day

Made reservation in the morning and when I arrived in the evening they said they didn't have a room for me. They were very helpful and professional, but still they didn't have a room. They accommodated me at a neighboring hotel. That hotel was fine and staff was similarly very nice.

Buzious is great place to stay, our hotel was 5 mins from the centre. Where there was many restaurants bars and shops. They seemed to open up about 10 30 in the morning but shops were still open at midnight and bars and restaurants were way into the night. There were many sandy bays around. On the beach you had chairs and parasols that you didn't pay for as long as you had there drinks and food which worked very well. Our hotel Porto Bay was excellant it was a very small hotel the rooms were spacious as was the balacony. Staff couldn't do enough for you, a really relaxing enjoyable stay.

The hotel location, staff, service, breakfast, meals and drinks are truly excellent and highly recommended for any couples or family. The friendly and kind staff went above and beyond to take good care of us when I was feeling sick at the arrival they called and delivered medication to my room. Short walk to the main centre gave us an easy access to the local attractions, shops and restaurants yet the hotel ambience delivered privacy and a relaxing balance.

Very nice hotel with great landscaping, friendly staff, great scenic views, room were nice and large...... only isssue was the air conditioning unit which was not the best but its consistent with what we experienced in the entire country of brazil.......

This hotel is ok. It's a bit old and rundown. The breakfast is not very good. And the Windows of the rooms are left open duri g the day allowing mosquitoes to come in and rest and then wake up during the night. The management was good in allowing me to spray the room which killed all the bugs but then I had to sleep in a room with toxic mosquito spray in the air. The sheets and mattresses were a bit old too.

Porto Bay Buzios sits atop one of the many hills in the town. It's a good 10-15 walk into Rua Pedra. The hotel staff were all pleasant & cooperative and had no trouble in booking a boat cruise tour. The hotel pool area is sensational, and there too is where breakfast is served. Breakfast offerings were ample & good quality. Room was big enough and clean. Nice front outdoor sitting area, strong shower in the room and lovely garden setting. Overall highly satisfied and I would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel. Very peaceful and quiet But close to beaches and shops. Super helpful staff and very vey comfy beds.

All in all it is a nice hotel. Besides the fact that we didst receive the Orbitz via reward I was offered, that the room was set for 2 and not 3, and then when we ordered food it took them more than an hour... It was nice and pretty. Wish it had a better view though.

The hotel is nice and quite, it's a waling distance to the shopping and restaurants. The closest beach is Brava beach but because it was a lot of waves we preferred to go to Azeda beach (by watertaxi or walk) which was nice and calm and warm. The Royal Suite has bathrobes, tea kettle and coffee (not for free!) and great view from huge balcony!

Great service, very nice big room and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended. It's about a 10-minute walk to central Buzios in a quiet neighbourhood up a small hill.

The rooms are fabulous. I had a junior suite that overlooked the pool area, but because they have trees, it gives you a real private feel. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. The main shopping area and eating area is an 8-10 min walk. Amazing beaches are also walking distance 20min or just hop on the busses that run up and down the area. Fabulous!!!

The staff was so great, even remembered our names...Everything was perfect and the price was great, one of my best experiences ever ! The breakfasts were also really good...Oh and they always had great relaxing music.

Easy walk to stone street. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Pool area is nice and open. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Gym is lacking. Sauna takes a lot of effort to heatup.

Had a great time. Really enjoyed the close access to beach and Centro. Only problem was our experience with the buggy rental agency that the hotel recommended. Key broke in the ignition and they made me pay for it. It wasn't much but more the principal. Your hotel was kind enough to cover the expense and I greatly appreciate that.

Ein in die Jahre gekommenes sehr schlecht gepflegtes Hotel mit bemerkenswert schlechtem Service. Kaputte Dachziegel, Bodenplatten defekt, hohes Sicherheitsrisiko, Treppe im Pool bricht unter Gast zusammen. Am vorletzten Tag bekamen wir morgens die Information, dass auch verschiedene Eierspeisen zubereitet werde; zuvor wurden wir auf Rührei oder zu bezahlendes Omeltt hingewiesen. Ambiente beim Frühstück: "leere Toilettenschüsseln und Fliesen und anderes Baumaterial" wurden an den Gästen vorbeigetragen. Kaputte Holzterrasse wurde abgerissen. Der größte Reinfall einer fünfwöchigen Südamerikareise.

Acho que o acolhimento na recepcao deixa um pouco a desejar. Minha esposa foi pedir um segundo adaptador de tomada O cara disse que só comprando na cidade!! Academia nem sequer tem água, nem ao menos um ventilador!! Acho que deveria ser desativada , pois dizer que disponibiliza algo daquela natureza , chamar de academia, e cobrar por isso, é muita cara de pau. O ar do quarto é subdimensionado pra o seu tamanho. Fica muito quente. A lâmpada da varanda estava queimada. Obviamente , nao se faz check list dos itens gerais do quarto antes de libera-lo ao hóspede. Não recomendo.

O cheiro do apartamento estava maravilhoso. Sistema de água terminca para todos os gostos. Recepção muito boa por parte dos funcionários. Paisagem magnífica. Satisfeito com tudo.

Suite excelente, muito conforto , espaço e vista maravilhosa. Café da nhanhã dentro da melhor expectativa e funcionários muito atenciosos.

Hotel satisfatório. Lindos jardins e espaço aconchegante, além de uma agradável piscina, porém sem aquecimento. Bom quarto, com ótima cama mas a propriedade está começando a necessitar de algumas melhorias. A pintura do quarto estava começando a ficar velha, assim como os azulejos, pia do banheiro e box. Quarto ainda com abertura via chave, e limpeza poderia ser melhor. Não dava para ficar descalço no quarto. Café da manha com poucas opções, espaço de fitness com MUITOS pernilongos. Wifi ruim. Staff é básico, fazem seu trabalho direito, mas não vi aquele desejo de agradar o tempo inteiro o hóspede que ja testemunhei em outros hoteis da rede Porto Bay. Pelo preço que paguei pela Master Suite, esperava mais.

É um hotel bem confortável, bonito e perto da Rua das Pedras (principal rua de comércio de Búzios). Fomos muito bem atendidas.

Veldig flott hotell og fint rom. Bra renhold, frokost og veldig hyggelig personale. Eneste minus var en litt bråkete aircondition som var plassert på veggen rett over hodeenden på senga og derfor hørtes ekstra godt

A Pousada e os funcionários são excelentes. Fiquei na Suíte Royale, ampla, possui um quarto adicional onde meu filho ficou muito bem acomodado. Sentimos falta de porta cabideiro no banheiro para colocar toalhas, roupões e a ducha estava com varias saídas de água entupida, no mais tudo funcionou bem. No café da manha o pão de queijo acabou as 9:00 da manhã, e não foi reposto até a nossa saída, cobrar por omelete achei o fim da picada. O cardápio da piscina falta opções para consumo. Localização excelente próximo as praias Ferradura, João Fernandes.

Apesar de passarmos um dia apenas no hotel, adoramos. A cama é muito confortável, o quarto standard é aconchegante, tem uma linda vista e o café da manhã é bem gostoso. A única situação que achamos desconfortável foi a limpeza da fossa ao lado da nossa janela enquanto estávamos lá, sendo que acordamos com um cheio terrível dentro do quarto e verificamos a situação da limpeza! Como dica construtiva, como o café da manhã é servido ao lado da piscina, ao meu ver é perigoso para quem tem crianças. Acredito que o hotel deveria colocar uma proteção ao redor da mesma, assim as famílias podem levar seus filhos sem se preocupar com eles enquanto relaxam tomando seu café! Outra opção seria fazer uma pequena piscina para os pequenos ou até mesmo um espaço para brincarem, simples, com balanço, casinha talvez, enfim, talvez investir nisso se torne um diferencial para buscar outros públicos!

Experiência surpreendente no Porto Bay Búzios. Desde a recepção até a saída. Todos os pontos, pessoal, limpeza, acomodações, conforto, lazer... Só 2 pontos a colocar: o cardápio precisa ser atualizado; a venda de cervejas artesanais tb pode ser um diferencial; e a música da piscina, o funk bate -estava não deve agradar a nenhum hóspede dali. Sugiro MPB e rock nacional...

Os funcionários são muito atenciosos. O hotel fica próximo ao Centro de Búzios: para quem gosta de caminhar, é uma boa pedida! O quarto é ótimo!

Hotel bem localizado em Búzios! Próximo da Rua das Pedras (é possível ir caminhando). Equipe muito atenciosa! Café da manhã muito bom, com muitas frutas, sucos, diferentes tipos de pães e bolos.

No geral o hotel é bom mas a ideia que pasa nas fotos não é o que você encontra na chegada. Não tem garagem, precisa de transporte para chegar. Subida bem acentuada. O estilo do hotel não condiz com conceito Hotel boutique. O pessoal é muito atencioso e simpático na recepção e no café da manhã. O custo benefício poderia melhorar, ou abaixando o valor da diária ou renovando algumas decorações e amenidades. Tivemos sorte de não chover, o café da manhã é servido a beira da piscina mesmo coberto se chover tem que passar por uma grande área descoberta.Cama boa, chuveiro bom. Ar condicionado mais ou menos. Tem espaço para melhorias para sustentar os preços praticados.
