We stayed in the Ocean View building, and the view was amazing! Walkable to downtown Bar Harbor (a bit of a walk, but past a lot of amazing homes and a few historic things). We really enjoyed our stay.

The location was beautiful and well worth the price. The indoor pool exceeded our expectations and was immaculate as was the hot tub. We did not use the outdoor pool or fire pit but both looked inviting. The location is close enough to walk to the d9wntown village. The rooms are a little dated but beds were comfortable, Internet access was excellent.

July 4th visit- perfect stay

It was a wonderful trip to visit Acadia with the family. We had a mixed group of seniors and kids and everyone enjoyed the rooms in the ocean view. We were able to see July 4th fireworks from our windows! The location is perfectly situated between everywhere you would want to visit. The rooms do need some upkeep- but overall facilities are good. The front staff is also very supportive and helpful- even helped heat up some leftovers for us after we checked out! Overall, I would definitely come back here!

Old looking motel for $$$

I guess Bar Harbor is just expensive in July, but this place was disappointing. The building was old and run down. The room was small, humid and had a really old bathroom. It's close to Acadia and about a 15-20 minute walk to Bar Harbor, so the location was great. The piano player in the evenings was excellent.
