Paradise Inn - Bennington

Cute town, good value hotel. Wish there were more activities like bike or scooter rentals in the town.

You never know about a place when you make reservations via Internet. We pulled into the driveway to find a semi-abandoned building with the name of a small college printed on the door at the address where the hotel should be. After calling the number of the hotel and being put on hold 3 times, we finally found out that the hotel was behind that building tucked away a bit. You can't see it from the street. So be prepared for this. Also, it has a kitchenette, but not a thing in it, not even a coffee maker. Bring EVERYTHING!

Staff very cordial and welcoming. Recommended local restaurants and answered any questions we had re: surrounding area.

Just there 1 night to get ready for a hike, room simple, clean and all your basic needs. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The only issue I had was its set off the road, even though there are big signs for it,it's kinda hard to find because its behind another building. Once you find it location and parking is good

The front desk staff could learn to be more hospitable and not complacent about working the front desk. She should be more oriented in giving a memorable experience instead of giving the impression she is doing a favor for the guest checking into the hotel.
