So-so but good location
The hotel was okay. The location was close to Times Square - we walked most places. Centrally located. Elevators broke a couples times. Our thermostat was initially broken or not working which they quickly fixed. The vending machine was out of order most of the time. And I'm not sure if this is due to COVID but our room was never cleaned during our stay.

The hotel itself is just ok. Nothing spectacular. My first complaint was during check in. When I booked this hotel I selected the room package that stated parking was included. This was important considering street parking is practically non-existent in Manhattan. Upon checking in I inquired about the parking, figuring I needed a pass or something like it to be able to park in their garage. I was told that parking is NOT included in the room price, though it states this on Expedia. She said they typically offer valet parking for seventy-four however it was unavailable at the time I checked in. The receptionist stated I could park 2 blocks down at City Parking on 40th between 5th and 6th, I think, for forty. Needless to say, this is very misleading information. I specifically selected this hotel because parking was advertised as inclusive with the room price. I am not sure if this is the hotel's fault or Expedia but either way, it reflects poorly on the hotel. The room wasn't bad although the "city view" which consisted of just seeing a portion of the Empire State Building, left alot to be desired. Not worth the extra money, basically. The sheets were clean however the bed skirt was not. There was visible dirt and stains. This portion does not come in contact with your body so I actually did not notice it until I was preparing to leave the following morning. Overall, it is ok for 1 night. If you drive, just be prepared to pay for parking in a nearby garage.

The room was not cleaned at all. The desk was dusty. The coffee condiments were not filled when we came in. The shampoo, conditioner and bodywash was not filled too. The bathroom sink was dirty. You have to ask for additional toilet paper. As soon as we came in front of the hotel, my wife was approached by a person (high on weed). Once youre out of the hotel, all u can smell was weed. Will not come back at all. The area is scary. It was our first time in NY, if we would have known we will get a hotel somewhere decent.

Check-in was a breeze! The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating with all of our needs. Hotel was very clean and rooms were great! Hotel was very close to everything we wanted to see. Will definitely be coming to stay at this hotel again very soon.
