The room was clean & comfortable, but the shower door was broken, so got the bathroom floor wet. Breakfast was excellent and staff, friendly & helpful.

It was a very pleasant stay, the views were to die for! What a beautiful area to visit!. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good and the bar had a nice atmosphere. We would stay there again!

Had a really good stay at The Black Swan Inn. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the pub served great food and drinks. It's in a quiet, beautiful location in Fearby and makes a solid base for exploring the local area. No complaints at all—would happily stay here again.

Great place to stay in a beautiful setting. Large ground floor rooms with direct access onto the picnic area. Landlord was welcoming and efficient. Food was great but as almost everywhere these days was pricey. Large Yorkshire breakfast was great value. Thanks to the team at the Black Swan, 👍👏

Our 2 nights stay at the Black Swan was mostly good. Evening meal was very good on the first night. The bar was busy and had a nice atmosphere plus friendly locals. The room was comfortable, bathroom okay apart from the door which has noisy latch which can wake you up if you are a light sleeper. Some noise from machinery which kept cutting in and heard in the bedroom. Breakfast was okay but a little sparse for a cooked breakfast.

Lovely little pub, accommodation was clean and cosy. Gorgeous views and fab location to explore the area. Go to druids temple, not too far away. Went for a relaxing weekend and loved it. Special mention to Mo who worked her socks off!

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Food great, bar great variety of good local beers and gins. Wine choices good and reasonably priced. Variety of walks from the doorstep including into nearby Masham. Overall a great little find

Excellent accommodation, lovely food and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. Only one thing that I would change is the shower ‘curtain’. It was very clean but I still don’t like them especially when they blow against you.

Lovely big room with ensuite facilites. Very nice crisp white bedding & soft, white towels. Breakfast was good & we had a lovely evening meal on one of the nights. The staff were friendly. Certain parts of the hotel would benefit with a freshen up but I guess that's down to finances and we still had a lovely time. Slightly confused by the breakfast times as they were different to the website which stated Saturday & Sunday breakfast was until 10.00am when it was actually 9.30am. This was our second visit, though it's quite a few years since our last stay, and we would return in the future.

I booked a twin room which was clean and a good size. The mattress on my bed was very uncomfortable so I swoped it with the pull out bed underneath our bed. The mattress was smaller than the original mattress and was too small for the base but it was very comfortable, a good mattress. I didn’t mention this to the staff at the hotel. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work efficiently but otherwise excellent. The meals were very good and delicious.

A great inn, in a good location. Staff were very friendly and the evening meal was excellent. The room was really nice with plenty of space, warm, clean and well equipped. Some noise carried through from other rooms but this wasn’t too much of a problem for our stay. Breakfast was ok but the full English breakfast fell a bit short of expectations. Overall would definitely recommend to stay at the Black Swan.

The country setting and the veiws out the back from the çomfortable garden are outstanding.
