Nice hotel
Nice hotel and staff are lovely. Rooms are a bit dated and could do with a lick of paint and bathroom needs refreshing, but bed was extremely comfy and overall a great place to stay for a couple of nights.

Nice hotel overall. Staff warm and welcoming, very helpful. Restaurant food was good. Very little phone signal and the WiFi was shocking. Don’t bother coming here if you have any work to do as part of your stay or need Internet connection. Otherwise, the room was comfortable enough, if quite basic.

Post lockdown and perfect
We don’t usually stay this far out of Sheffield but we decided to because so many hotels were suggesting their restaurants and bars were closed. Pubs and hotels have only just opened after lockdown so everyone is getting used to a new way of working. The staff were really helpful and made clear the procedures in place for managing Covid risk. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pub was great for food and a few drinks in the evening. Excellent menu and a great choice for the breakfast Menu too. Will definitely stay again and would happily recommend.

Great Place to Stay.
Great place to stay after a visit to Meadowhall. The staff were most helpful and friendly. They hadn't a family room available (already booked) but they put a very comfortable z bed in our room for our Grandson - he slept well!! Food was also very good both dinner and breakfast - they even providing gluten free bread. Overall no complaints and we would stay there again without doubt.

Room was next to pub which played very loud music until 11.30, doors banged until early hours Bed was Soft, shower head was very low, TV was small and in bad position Restaurant food was great Reception was fast, friendly and helpful would only stay as a one night stop over
