Every employee I met was friendly and polite. The overall experience was awesome !
Arrived during a power problem, in the area. (The owners had called and said they had a generator to supply limited services.) Judi and Walter were very accommadating to help us enjoy our stay. They gave us tips for special trips to really experience the local "bests" in exploring and in eating out. The breakfasts were really lovely. Had a wonderful visit.
No Service mind!!! We got a Cottage Suite, written: sleeps 2 people (including 1 child), traveling with our 8 yrs old daughter. We didn’t want the property to put an extra bed in, therefore at Hotels.com we chose configuration with 2 adults. When we checked-in, the lady who ran the property was not very nice. She showed her temper once found that we didn’t inform ahead of time about our daughter staying in. She shouted across the hall complaining us to her husband about her problems to make an extra bed for our daughter. Everything happened in front of us. The lady kept complaining about showing up of our daughter in front of our kid. This was rude. Even though we told her that we didn’t want anything but a towel, then she picked-up on cooking a breakfast for our kid. Ha ha… We all skipped breakfast there. (Her husband was nice trying to calm her down.)
Perfect B&B style inn with all of what you'd expect and more. Our room was wonderful, and our bed was super comfortable. The location was perfect as well, right near the town center, so perfect for walking around. They also have a wonderful complimentary breakfast every morning with delicious sides.
The deluxe cottage was more of an expanded motel room but did have a fire place which we did not use in July and a sitting area. The breakfast was served but did not include any choices. It would have been nice to have some choices.. The location is quite convenient to town. I liked having an assigned parking space in front of my "cottage".
