STAY AWAY.
Horrible, horrible service. I had left in the morning for breakfast, and came back to the room around 11. The keypad was dead. I texted the “front desk” and they told me they were aware and that someone was “on their way” to address the issue. I was forced to wait outside for SIX HOURS while getting “updates” that someone was coming to change the batteries. I couldn’t access the inside of the house much less my own room and my personal belongings the entire time. Horrible communication. Someone finally ended up coming by who had been changing out door lock batteries the day prior, and said “Oh no, please don’t tell me you’re locked out.” So even maintenance staff had no idea that I had been communicating with hostel staff, who told me they were getting the issue addressed. All this after they had told me they’d discount my room after some booking issues (with a DIRECT booking with them, NOT through hotels/expedia), then FAILING to provide an itemized invoice for the direct booking to show that they’ve “honored” the agreement we landed on.
