Estupenda vista con puestas de sol únicas, muy buen restaurante en el hotel, muy atentos todos, la habitación enorme y preciosa, ideal para explorar el área de Monteverde

We loved Hotel Tropico! The individual cottages were cute and comfortable with amazing views. The on site restaurant was good and we were able to reserve breakfast, which was very convenient. Hotel Tropico is close to everything and all of the staff that we encountered were very friendly. I would recommend and would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and offers breathtaking panoramic views of both the Monteverde mountains and the Nicoya Gulf, including islands such as Chira and Venado. The view from the property is simply incredible. We especially loved that it’s locally owned, which made the experience feel much more authentic. José was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and his recommendations for restaurants and tours were excellent. The room was comfortable and well maintained, and having a restaurant on-site was very convenient after a day of exploring. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Monteverde.

This hotel was like a haven at the end of each day. Nice people, good food and drink, beautiful views, and clean spacious rooms with a great shower and firm bed. What more could you ask for!!

Trópico Monteverde was an absolute gem! The setting was amazing and the views were gorgeous. The room was large and spacious, with enchanting views. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower was great. We were so comfortable and relaxed, and it was lovely to return to this peaceful place after a busy day of exploring Monteverde. Really lovely to have a restaurant on site with delicious food. we enjoyed being able to eat there after a long travel day. Jose and the staff are wonderful and really made us feel at home. The laundry service was also very convenient. Felt like a home away from home and we wish we could have stayed longer. The view from the property was incredible - morning mist, rainbows, magical sunsets, and a sky filled with stars after dark. Heavenly! Gracias Jose!
