Very comfortable
Superb nights sleep in this very beautiful but old hotel. Staff were superb and the setting is lovely. As can be expected with a building of this age, there are dome areas of the hotels corridors etc that look their age however this is to be expected and simply adds to the charm. A very comfortable nights sleep and I would absolutely stay again.

Nice rooms, tired in places. Could have been a bit warmer for me. We went here for a wedding which was lovely. If we need to stay in Rugby again would certainly not hesitate to stay here. Impressive facade, lovely grounds

Terrific property with a spacious room in the Stables. They are challenged with check-in/check-out when travelers arrive at same time but it was not a problem, merely a slight inconvenience. I would definitely stay there again.. No question.

Very average hotel. The bathroom smelt very mouldy but the room was fine. It needs modernising and a bit of TLC. The food was fine and good location to get into centre of Rugby

The location is great and the food was reasonably priced. But the place really needs some TLC, it looks really worn. The room was very basic. No lift and staff unhelpful. This place is really overpriced!

An absolutely gorgeous property in a secluded environment with extensive and beautiful grounds. I went with my son to visit a haunted house and the staff, especially Tim the Barman and Sonya at reception were fantastic!

Room needs a bit of update. No aircon. Small fan in wardrobe. Only enough coffee, milk and sugar for one evening. Not enough pillows, only 2 for 2 people. Very soft. For £115 a room it could have been a better experience.

It was a good sized room in the stables, a little dated and the condition of the age ing building was not great in parts. The bar area is worth a mention because theme is obvious but pretty ugly and out of place in such a beautiful building...weird. Odd stay really. We also dined in, thought it was a bit overpriced maybe that is why the garbage bin in front of reception was overflowing with KFC and Macca wrappers 2 days running (does no one tidy the bin - it is the first thing you see).

I loved everything about the Brownsover Hotel. Great location, beautiful scenery, everything was well kept, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. It has an awesome look to it! Definitely would stay there again!!!
