Great place to stay while cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway, everything you need is right there. Nice pool, restaurant and 2 bars. We lounged out by the fire pit after dinner and had a nightcap. Highly recommend

The room was damp and Smelled of mold, our luggade smelled if mold after one night. Beside our room we absolutey loved this hotel. The view, the food, the terrace, the staff, the pool, it is wonderful!!! Visit, but dont stay over night.

Our only real complaint would be the servers in the restaurants. Our fortieth anniversary dinner in the Chalet Restaurant was dampened by a distracted waitress that had to be asked numerous times for water and cocktail napkins for our glasses that were sweating all over our table and dripping on our clothes. Our food came to us lukewarm so we didn’t even stay for dessert. Our first night there I made reservations for The Pub not knowing they only had high top tables which are not comfortable for one of us due to a medical condition. The hostess told me we couldn’t be seated in the Taproom because that was not what I reserved. When I questioned our server about it she said it was because there was only one server in the Taproom and when I pointed out that serving only had two people seated in that area she pretty much just ignored me. Besides our dining experiences we loved Switzerland Inn. We loved our view and our balcony!!

The view is beautiful, rooms clean and comfy. Enjoyed the patio bar and food service. Most of the shops were closed during our stay unfortunately. Computer problems due to a lightening strike but the staff did a great job accommodating guests.

What an amazing and magical place to spend a fun-filled Thanksgiving! The Inn was perfectly decorated for Christmas, the staff was incredibly attentive, and the meal was delicious! A particular shoutout to Stephanie! While driving back from a local tree farm, we ran over a tack on Thanksgiving Day. Upon mentioning this issue to her team, she told us to not call AAA and had a family member come to the Inn to repair the tire, what unbelievable service! We will absolutely return with our family, such a special place!
