We were surprised as we thought the hotel would be on or near the water. But the little town that it’s in is very cute and quiet and we were very happy with the property. We do recommend a stay there.

Comfy, clean room booked at the last minute when we decided to adventure to Dillon Beach. The coffee bar was a nice touch and a life saver.

Nice boutique hotel, however although there was a refrigerator, no ice available at the property. We stayed on a Saturday night and all businesses were closed before 7 pm, so nowhere to get any food without driving.

My wife and I really liked the room. It was very clean and comfortable. I was skeptical about the self check in, but it was fine. I messaged the staff and got an answer back right away. I would definitely recommend this spot!

Beautifully decorated restored hotel. Check in a little challenging to some. I didn’t have a problem but I had to help a couple of others figure out the self check in. Would highly recommend this beautiful quiet hotel. But be warned, the small town closes early so get your dinner or shopping done beforehand.

It was a nicely restored older building that maintained its original look but looks like a new version of it. I liked the remote check-in, getting an email with a code to enter the lobby and another for the room door. It was very clean. Tomales is a nice little town, close to the ocean.

It was self check in, really didn't see any hotel star while I was there. In a good location, bakery right across the street. Room had an odd smell in the living room, not sure what it was or where it was coming from. Other than that the stay was very pleasant

Very beautiful rooms, very clean and extremely quiet! The only thing I didn’t like was the microwave was downstairs in the lobby instead of the room.

Excellent location for a coastal getaway & the bakery across the street is a must visit. Room itself was clean and self-check in was easy. However, it was not the best night of sleep as the bed was overly firm and there is not much insulation from road / pedestrian noise outside.

The property was very clean. We had a room that a direct access outside. The windows had no screens on them. There is a small refrigerator in the room. There is no staff, if you need to talk to anyone. The bakery across the street is very good, but closed on Tuesday/ Wed. There is a great general store across the street, but no other restaurant within walking distance.

I did not appreciate the ersatz spice electric scent dispensers. If you need to mask something, natural sachets of dry flowers and herbs would be more pleasing and in keeping with your vibe.

There was a little confusion between the emailed key codes I dutifully saved and the requirement for extra digits for entry, which was only noted on the door of the main entrance.
