Verandas by Elliott Beach Rentals

Beachfront! Inside condo was spacious, clean, beachy furnishings. Outside condo doorway/entrance felt more like a hotel. Needs a little updating. But overall, we enjoyed!

the staff from the realty company was very accommodating with the booking as it was all done while out of state and late arrival/ check-in. The original booking fell through but the upgraded me twice before my stay. I highly recommend.

This property is in a perfect location and well-maintained but it is rather old.

Expected an ocean view and stared at another building the whole time. Room didn’t look anything like the photos, everything was dirty, had to go buy toilet paper and paper towels and didn’t get any sleep listening to dogs running and playing, furniture sliding across floors and people outside being loud and drunk till way after 6am

I can only speak about unit 603 at Verandas. It was not clean and the beds were terrible. The mattresses were so uncomfortable we asked to be moved to another unit which they would not do . Instead the owner of the unit sent a very thin egg crate foam topper which did nothing to help.There were very little comforts, light bulbs that were blown, blender was filthy, furniture stained, pillows flat and stained and overall unit not clean. We were not aware we had to take our own toilet tissue and paper towels. Not all units at Verandas are in this condition so I don't know who is at fault, Hotels.com or Elliot Realty but someone needs to address this

What a dump! Nothing like the ad showed. No look out over a spacious living room on to the terrace overlooking the ocean. You could get a look at the ocean if you hung over the rail or maybe looked over the roof of the hotels next door. Hard to do that as you are over the AC units next door. The place wasn't even up to flea bag standards. No dishwasher as advertised, but you couldn't cook if you wanted to as there is no counter space to prep for your meal. The bathroom door panels had separated and just flapped in the breeze. The shower curtain was about 13" too long and bunched up at the bottom which set up a tripping hazzard. Also, everything was so rusty that I went ahead and got a tetanus shot to be safe. The air conditioner was held together with masking tape. There are no services provided, no replacement towels, but there were sheets for an additional fee. Renters are expected to clean the room and a credit card number is held by Elliot in case the room is not up to their standards. I didn't have to worry about that though, as the place was nasty other than the surface. It did have a mictowave, toaster, coffee maker and blender, however, you had to use them on top of the refrigerator as that was home for all appliances. I guess I was the most mad that, while you are to clean, no supplies are provided, except for a vacuum cleaner. As the Elliot rep showed me, the listing on their site did provide an accurate description of the property. Kindly remove us from your mail.

Really like this condo complex. Pool area was very well kept even in the rain! Our unit was nice. Not 100% sure house keeping finished cleaning, as one bathroom seemed unfinished. (Bar of soap in shower and black watermarks on toilet bowl) We had a issue on how to work the TV and they had maintenance come and he stayed until we were able to get the TV on and see the Royal Wedding! So a big Thumbs up to the maintenance crew.

No toilet paper upon check in. Last day of short 3 day vacation and pipes burst in bathroom shooting water out from under sink for over an hour. .The neighbors around us said this is the 3rd time in 2 years this has happened. It's been over a week and I'm still waiting on my room credit and for someone to help me with my ruined items.

Lady at the Elliot’s rental was very rude. We showed up around 5:30 to get the keys and when we walked in the lady said we are closed and I forgot to lock the door. You will have to get you key out side in the lock box. I have never rented from Elliot’s so I didn’t know where or how to even use the lock box. She couldn’t put her phone down long enough to help us out. Very rude lady. The room was okay but had some flaws. The bathroom tub would stop up with water and the beds need new mattresses.

the unit was 603, if I recall. Very outdated.. it was clean, but carpet was dirty and smelled old. probably would not stay there again.
