I should’ve taken pictures, but honestly, I’d rather not relive that time more than I need to. The room had stains all over the walls. There seem to be what looked like mold, growing in the corners of the bathroom. Also, the paint seem to be peeling away from the drywall next to the bathroom door. Between the lack of parking, the extreme amount of homeless people in the area and the 24 seven Denny’s right out of the window, which made for a nonstop noise all night, it’s hard to pinpoint what I disliked most. The safety in the room was not comfortable either as the door frame seem to be coming apart and you could see daylight all around the door. I actually pinned the ironing board under the door knob, just to feel safe at night.growing up in BFE Missouri I never thought I would consider myself picky when it comes to a place to stay but Hemet California takes the cake in trashiest places I’ve ever been. Unless you want to pay the over priced rooms for the Hampton, every other hotel seemed to be just as trashy. The only positive thing I can say, is they made our bed every day and gave us fresh towels. But one thing is for sure I will never sleep another night in this hotel again.
