This was an excellent location that is convenient to thse sights, dining, and an overall good time. It is visually pleasing and quiet. The only negative and its a very small one is the the fire panel alarm was activated my entire stay but you could only hear it at the entry ways like the front door and elevator/stairways.

The air conditioning works great, it was very hot during my stay in Philly. The location was the best thing, near all the sites in Center City.

The room was very clean and cozy. The beds are a bit firm, but after sightseeing all day its a wonderful place to rest your head. When we did have an issue with the shower not draining, they promptly handled it. Metro is right outside the building and minutes from walking to great landmarks. Would recommend to stay here and will stay again when visiting Philly!

• The room was clean • The location is in the heart of Philly, everything close. You don’t need a taxi at all. • If you want to attend the world cup matches, lincoln financial field is also close, it takes me only 18 mins by uber to get there. I highly recommend this place.

There's a parking lot across the street from the main entrance, very convenient. The area is walkable with many food options, shops & tourist areas to stroll around. Customer service,over the phone, gave us a room after the 2 bed room I paid for wasn't available. No staff was observed on premises.

There was a problem with the AC on the property and they moved me to another location! I appreciated how helpful they were in helping me to organize this, and the new apartment I stayed in was excellent

FYI there is no in person hotel host. We got a discount because for our three day stay, there was no hot water. We messaged the host, and they said they had hoped to get it fixed soon and by the time we left there had been no change. Also, the curtain to block off street light during the night didn’t close. And the metal soap holders in the shower with no soap in them cut my elbow when taking a brisk cold shower. Otherwise, the place is clean enough, unique since it’s mostly likely an SRO apartment building converted to hotel rooms, and great for thrifty travelers. Just know what you’re walking into.

The shower was frigid. (Not cold. Frigid. No hot whatsoever.). When I contacted support, I was ignored. I was there for 2 days and couldn’t shower the second day. Old outlets are blocked but still popped out, away from the wall, so that the connecting wires are visible. The light fixture next to the bathroom mirror was missing a shade, so the bulbs and connections were visible. Bed was comfy, and room was clean. But that’s all I can say for it. A little bit of effort at maintenance would go a long way to show they care at all

I stayed in a queen room, and it came with a very big bathroom, that was clean. The shower was not working 100% but it was still functional. Nice amenities as white noise machine to try to help overnight for sounds, but honestly it was not that bad. During my check out I had issues with my codes, they stopped working, thankfully the staff was able to help via text message, but it was a scary situation. The building is in a very central position, everything is reachable walking or via subway, with a station just beside the hotel. A lot of shops and restaurant on the street if needed.

The coffee maker did not work; I told the maid on the first day and she said just a minute and then never returned. The TV faces a wall; it should really face the bed or be able to turn towards the bed, it not relaxing to sit on a hard plastic chair to watch TV. The electric outlet in the bathroom does not work. There were no wash cloths given. I did like the location and the room and bathroom size. Great security with the coding.

I stayed in Unit 206. Shower head did not work properly. Water was coming out of the connection points and not through the shower head. It was unusable. Also, AC is loud and the vent in the room is located such that it blew right onto me when sleeping. I had to turn it off entirely. Blanket cover had a red/brown stain which was probably blood but I’m not sure. Other than these, everything was okay. Convenient location.

First I want to say the hotel is dated. The room was clean. The air conditioning did not work and getting help is not available because no one answers the phone number provided or text back so we had to use a fan and couldn’t open the windows on 70-80 degrees days. That was really my only complaint. The shower floor did look a little suspicious but we showered is flip flops. And I have stayed at other SONDER hotels in Philly that were AWESOME this one I will never stay at again

Great location for getting around. Right near a popular night club and lots of people up all night. They provided a sound machine which was nice. Our room had no A/C or any circulation. We contacted the building and they were not able to help at all. They were supposed to contact us about getting a fan and it never happened. We went through Expedia and also made a complaint. The shower barely worked as well and some of the light sockets didn’t work.

Super convenient location at a reasonable price through Expedia. Lots of things to see and do,a nd lots of very good restaurants, PErfect location for downtown Philly! Nice room, comfortable. Digital check in procedure a bit ptoblematic for me (age 65+) but we figured it out and all else went very well.

Was a great aesthetic venue, and it felt like it could’ve been a great stay. First day in we realized we had no hot water. We had no hot water for the 5 nights we stayed there. The elevator (the only way into the building) broke twice. Called support to get access to the back door. Walls are also VERY thin. People checking in and arriving at 2 am are very loud, even when you can tell they are trying to be quiet. The fire alarm in the lobby was constantly going off and due to there being no staff there, it just goes on. The vending machine that they provide for drinks and snacks is fully stocked but whenever you try to get something it claims it’s all sold out. The only microwave in the building also was dirty and weak. The bed was VERY stiff as well and wasn’t very comfy. However, the smart tv felt nice to have, especially when regular hotels give you just cable. Also, the location of the hotel is very nice.
