We had a pet friendly room of which there’s an extra fee for pets (per pet per night) (I assume for the cleaning) Upon arrival to our room it smelled strongly of pet urine through the room. The hard surfaces (Tables end tables) had residue on them. The floor was not vacuumed, I found spots on the carpet where pets had urinated and it was not cleaned. Then bathroom was not cleaned. The bed appeared to be clean, that was the only thing that LOOKED clean. It was disappointing as you pay extra for this room ($80 to be exact. We could have boarded our pets for that price) and cleaning, and it was not clean from the last guests pets. Disappointing

Beds were very comfortable bedding was clean the room was clean. There was no service. The hot tub heating element was out they never told us. When we checked in they never gave us any instructions. Never told us how to get to our room never told us the hot tub was broke never gave us the wi if password. No conversation whatsoever ever. Maids in the hall were extremely pleasant.

A so so stay
Check in was very rushed so no information was given to us regarding our stay. We paid the higher rate for breakfast, but it wasn't honored and staff was rude about it. They refused compensation or a refund. Beds were cozy. The room was deceiving. It was spacious, but the description said kitchenette. It had a mini fridge and microwave like any other hotel room. Housekeeping was great and they were friendly. Ther commons area and pool were closed and no compensation was given for this either.

The location of the property is great. I was disappointed in the fact that there was nobody at the front desk nor did anyone answer the phone when we first arrived to town as we were hoping for an early check in but after standing for 10 minutes in the lobby and nobody answering the phone we left to go find something to eat. When we came back there was a lady at the desk but not very friendly. Our room was fine but there was a puddle of water on the bathroom floor when we checked in probably because the shower curtain was outside the tub. The toilet lever also was very loose. The blow dryer was grossly sticky but I’m guessing maybe whatever they are using for cleaning is causing that. The room darkening shade does not do its job and it was like someone flipped a light on at 5:00am. Also there was a big gap under the door that let in light so we tucked towels up against that.
