Paséa Hotel & Spa

This was the worst experience of our life. We always stay at 5 star hotels such Ritz Carlton or Surf and Sand Resort. This time we decided to choose this hotel and regreted the moment we arrived. First, I paid extra for the room that has ocean view. When we got there, they gave us a room with a partial ocean view, I called and gently asked them to change it. They persisted and told us that it is the ocean view room. I told them that the pictures in the website it’s nothing to do of what are seeing now. Then, I asked for the supervisor. HE WAS VERYYY RUDE, and when I asked him to change the room and gave the room that we paid for, this is what he said: “YOU FEEL WHAT YOU FEEL, THERE IS NOTHING THAT I CAN DO. Then when I asked them to transfer me to someone higher than him, he said he is one of the directors. Then it was clear for me, IF THE DIRECTOR IS TALKING LIKE THAT, OF COURSE THE REST OF THE EMPLOYEES WILL TALK THE WAY THEY TALKED.

The hotel is clean, pretty and at a great location! I think most rooms have a partial Ocean View which is great. Some cons: Valet parking is mandatory. Not super covid friendly as a bunch of people handled the interior of our car with bare hands so we had to wipe the car down every time we got it back. Also, having to wait for 15 min before they fetch your car isn´t great either if you can just walk into the garage yourself and drive off. Same with luggage, we were not allowed to bring our own luggage to the room. They literally removed it from our hands. Again, why do I want other people touching my luggage? I understand that there are a lot of people that like this service, it would be great if these things are optional, rather than mandatory.

We stayed 5 days/4 nights, 3 people. We got one tiny piece of soap and a roll and a half of toilet paper, and 3 towels. No one checked up on us if we ran out - which we did, and had to chase Housekeeping down the halls for toilet paper and soap. Our coffee maker was broken. They replaced it but did not leave coffee pods, so we did not even know we got a replacement coffee maker as there were no pods to try it. And, we reported at 4pm for check in. We were given a key at 5 pm - 1 hour later. We sat in the lobby with our bags, waiting. Front desk asked me for feedback, and I told them that with longer stays they should at least leave toilet paper and soap outside the door, if they don't go in due to COVID.

Much to say about Paséa, none of which is all that great. We paid for an ocean view room which delivered, and gave us a view over the pool, bar, and a view out to the beach. That might've been the highlight. Otherwise, the room was nothing special. There was terrible water pressure in the shower, no housekeeping, a hard uncomfortable bed you could feel the springs through and multiple little square pillows to sleep with. We were woken up repeatedly from 5am onward, as the walls were thin and all the doors in the hallway SLAMMED shut every time someone came in and out. Loud enough to wake you from a deep sleep. The included bottle of wine sadly didn't make up for the rest. The $35 daily resort fee was a waste since the multiple times we tried for a bike there weren't ever any available. The valet text line always said they were at capacity and to see the valet stand, so we had to wait for our car every day. The literal 30 kids below the age of 10 running and screaming around the pool and hot tub made it difficult to enjoy. On top of that, 50% of the guests didn't follow any mask rules. People were shoulder to shoulder in the hot tub without masks on. On multiple occasions other people would cram into the elevator, again none of whom were wearing masks. We aren't eager to go back.

Very good service and the concierge was amazing. Friendly staff. Hotel gives a very chic beachy feel. Balcony view of the beach and night life is beautiful.

I loved my stay! Customer service was excellent. The only thing is that my TV did not work, bathroom sink was clogged and the shelves in the closet were not wiped down. Other then that I would definitely come again and refer friends.

The hotel itself was great. I enjoyed the amenities the hotel had to offer but I was really disappointed when I arrive and was told that there would be an additional $150 for a pet free. I chose this hotel because it said pet friendly and I do not believe I read anywhere on hotels.com that there would have been any additional fee. If I had known there was going to be a pet fee of $150 — I wouldn’t have booked this hotel.

We had a great stay vacation! Even in COVID services were pretty good!

We had a fabulous time.The view from our partial ocean view room was gorgeous! All the staff were so friendly and helpful. My husband has diabetes and at 3:00 woke up with low blood sugar. He went downstairs looking for any vending machines but there none. The guy at the front desk had a guy from security go in the cafe and get him a sandwich. That was so thoughtful and they didn’t even charge him. Thank you so much. We will love to comeback!

Wonderful luxurious and contemporary-styled hotel right on Huntington Beach. We had a gorgeous ocean view. The restaurants are really good but one of our items got delivered to the wrong table, then we had to wait about an hour to get the dish served to us. At checkout, the desk wasn’t answering so we ended up dragging all our luggage downstairs ourselves. Overall, the rooms and faculties are top-notch and comfortable.
