Great stay!
The hotel was clean and although they couldn’t offer the continental breakfast like usual, the one they prepared was excellent! We were slightly bummed about the pool and gym being closed due to COVID restrictions, but we’ll be frequenting this establishment regularly due to a new grand any being born and living just 10 miles away. The whole place was super clean!

We were an an outdoor event and was looking forward to cooling off in the pool. It was not mentioned anywhere the pool was closed due to Covid. This was a big disappointment.

Dog Friendly and Comfy Beds!
Beds were very comfortable....that's usually how I judge a room and a hotel stay. Unfortunately, our stay was not for "pleasure" - we were evacuees from Hurricane Laura. This hotel accommodated us nicely - allowing our dogs and us a safe and cozy place to stay.

Everything about our stay here was exceptional. We were traveling with our 8 month old daughter, so I called ahead to make sure they would have a pack and play available for her to sleep in. We got their late (after 9PM), and the woman working the front desk had the pack and play ready at the desk for us and provided us with extra towels and blankets to put in it. The room was very clean and comfortable. The grab and go breakfast was easy and convenient. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and we will likely stay at this hotel for future trips.

Don’t book unless absolutely necessary
We had to go to a wedding during the pandemic. No coffee. No breakfast. No fitness center. No swimming pool. No housekeeping. Sofa pullout bed had springs poking out & we had to go and ask for bedding. Staff was not accommodating. All of that but they did not give us a break on the rate. I do not recommend.

Upon arrival, check in was a breeze, and I thought "this is gonna be a great stay" how wrong I was! The mini fridge, I opened to put water bottles for my son and found left overs from the previous visitors 😒 Next we head over to the pool to find the pool with ice cold water and a Jacuzzi that was too hot to get in Run back to the room to get in the shower and the tub WOULD NOT drain Staff on duty upgraded my family to a "suite" only difference a couch. Jump in the shower in the suite just to find there is NO hot water. And hair in the tub from, yes, you guessed it, the previous guest After talking to staff that night into the next morning, and waiting for some kind of apology or discount or complimentary pen from the GM we received nothing but a cold shoulder. I will never stay at this location again nor will I recommend it to be used. I was utterly disgusted and upset at their lack of customer service I've stayed at la Quinta in the past with no issues but this location probably changed my mind for good.
