Excellent location, terrible shower that’s absolutely tiny too. But you’d put up with it because of the great location.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. We stayed as a family and shared a quad. The room was spacious, very clean and the most fantastic terrace overlooking the square. It was lovely in the dazzling early morning sunshine to sit there and listen to the old men of the town chatting and the restaurants getting ready for the day ahead. Reception staff were very friendly, breakfast buffet was excellent and left sufficient room for lunch in one of the towns many good restaurants. The car parking was a little complicated (although the tuk tuk ride with Enzo great fun!) and the beds a bit hard but these are tiny niggles and can heartily recommend this beautiful historic hotel and the charming town of Monopoli.

The staff was very helpful in fulfill all our needs. There was a problem the first night it was taken care of right away. The staff at the front desk very he!pful and cheerful!

We enjoyed our stay in this historic hotel and loved Monopoli. Good breakfast, friendly staff, right in the heart of centro storico. A great homebase for exploring the beaches and towns nearby.

I liked that it was a restored historic Palace, with beautiful vaulted ceilings, yet it had all the amenities of 21st century. Spacious and scrupulous clean modern bedroom and ensuite shower room. Excellent restaurant. Great location in main square of Monopolli, near Port, bars, restaurants and shops.

The location of this property was ideal in that it was right in the town centre with great restaurants and shops directly outside of the hotel entrance. You can spend your evening at a restaurant or bar within steps and we highly recommend the hotel restaurant. Kader was a superb server and the seafood and other specialties were a delight. Do plan ahead and try to avoid a late-night arrival as you will need to arrange a shuttle pick-up with the hotel. There is no parking at the hotel however there is a large parking lot within a 2-minute drive for which the hotel arranges shuttle service to and from. Enzo the shuttle driver is charming and leaves one with a pleasant impression of the townspeople. Breakfast is also ample, with a more enhance offering than your standard Eurpoean hotel breakfast. Enjoy!

Quick stay. Staff was very nice

The hotel is centrally positioned and exceptionally clean.The staff are very helpful and assisted us with tips and lent us travel adaptor etc.English is not widely spoken this is not a criticism so a few phrasez in italian will help us along bext time however some staff have perfectly adequate english. The restaurant food was very good and residents receive a discount. Our only dissappointment was there is limited outdoor space for residents whose rooms are not on the balcony offerinf views of the squareto relax in the property with a book etc so the options are the bar area out front ot on a patio which had no views and noisy generators. The breakfast is fine.we ate most days,there is enough selection:fresh fruit,yoghurt cakes cheese bread ham salami etc,some hot food would be a nice addition however we noticed somebody did get an omelette but it isnt wideky advertised this could hosever be a langusge issue.

This hotel was not worth the price. It looks so much bigger and nicer online in photos, the room was tiny and our toilet seat was left really dirty. Was not what we expected I wouldn’t reccomend this hotel
