Friendly staff. Clean tidy and Comfortable. Decent food. Noisy water system. Weak shower.

A lovely, very friendly pub/hotel and lovely rooms in a beautiful old hotel in a country village. Very sensible attitiude to the current 'covid' situation being safe while not intrusive and making it a very pleasant experience

Lovely little place to stay, clean and lovely staff. but rooms are very light so early morning wake up for us.

We have just left the Red Lion as a family of four and can't recommend this B&B highly enough. The family room was perfect for our stay, very clean with lovely 'homely' touches. Its located in a small village with a river close by which is perfect for paddling in. We used this as a base to explore Longleat and other little gems around the area. The Sunday lunch and breakfasts were delicious too. A special mention to all the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome! Thank you. 

Set in a beautiful small village, the Red Lion looks deceivingly small until you go round to the car park, see the huge garden backing onto the river in and go inside the building. The pub itself was cosy but not small and the room was very adequately sized for a family with everything clean and neat. The staff were very amiable and helpful, along with the local who were very friendly.

Great service and exceeded all expectations.

Very helpful lovely people. Martin, Sam and Lorna made us very welcome. Home cooked food was delicious. Would definitely return

Very nice pub and room. We arei ed agter the kitchen was closed but they still managed to serve us some food
