Marvellous Mullingar park
I decided to head off and make the most of the good weather forecasted . We ended up booking a night in Mullingar park hotel and have to say it was just the tonic. From the moment we arrived in the bright lobby with a beautiful chandelier display as the centre piece everything was just perfect . The staff were friendly and the dinner we had in the lovely horseshoe bar that evening was top class . There was a female manageress that was on duty on both the Friday evening in the bar and again the following morning in the restaurant for breakfast and I have to say she ran everything very efficiently especially the breakfast . We were served by the staff at our table and they were super efficient . We stayed at dunboyne castle hotel last month and their breakfast service was just all over the place and they certainly could have done with the experience of the Mullingar crew. The room was bright and spacious and the only small criticism I have is that there was no air conditioning and with the balmy weather the room was a bit uncomfortable to sleep . Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again .

Lovely family weekend break
The staff are very helpful, beds comfy, food very good and the leisure centre was great. My only complaint was the room was very warm at night and we couldn't regulate the temperature. Overall though we had a great time.

From start to finish it was a perfect break. All the facilities were working and in very good condition. Staff very friendly, rooms were comfortable, toiletries were good quality. Everything you could wish for. The only 2 problems were that I ate too much (breakfast was to die for and properly cooked) and secondly there was no skimmed milk on display for the cereals, only full fat milk.Bar food finished at 9pm so no real chance of a sandwich or anything

Quality at an affordable price.
On the outskirts of Mullingar just off the motorway, this is a quality hotel. Plenty of car parking, great leisure centre that was spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast, spacious bar and the big bedroom was very comfortable and well kitted out.

Not a 4 star hotel!!
Definitely not what I call a 4 star hotel. I have stayed in better 2 star hotels. Duvet cover was ripped at the seems. Contacted receptionist and enquires where the ice machine was located on the 2nd floor. Was told they don’t have one and if I wanted ice I would have to go to the bar and get it myself. No offer of ice being delivered to my room. In the morning the noise outside my bedroom window of beer kegs being thrown about was just ridiculous.
