Heights Hotel

We enjoyed our stay but due to the virus, some things were different. The staff were as kind, efficient and attentive as always. Looking forward to going again soon.

A very pleasant couple of days in a hotel where staff take C-19 extremely seriously and have taken every precaution to keep staff and guests safe and well. Pleasant staff, a good sized room and all clean.

Great staff and the location was fabulous. The hotel does need a slight update .but with the cleanliness and great staff ,its still a great place to stay

The location and view is the best part of this hotel. I reported that our bathroom jets were not clean, I removed with a cotton bud black from the jets this was visible. I was advised that they should be run clean once a week, this had not been done, so we decided not to use the bath during our 2 night stay.

A little put off by the austere look of the place but once inside it’s a nice reception. The rooms are on the ground and first floors and the layout has the feeling of an airport hotel. Nice clean rooms with a comfy king size bed. Used Restaurant for breakfast and dinner, all well cooked with good service, with friendly staff. Views from hotel of Chesil Beach are stunning and we were lucky enough to witness a great sunset. A very pleasant stay.

2 night stay to explore Portland. The hotel gave Excellent service, a good room and Nice food. The view at breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Of our holiday in 4 locations this hotel was the best and very switched on to your safety and had excellent Covid procedures. Would we stay here again - a very big yes

great place to stay ,staff are very helpfull

The staff here were faultless - very attentive and extremely appreciative of their guests. We had a spacious room which was more than adequate...very comfy bed, nice bathroom and clean. The views are quite amazing all around the hotel. A one way system is in place with sanitiser pumps throughout the hotel. Breakfast was again, pretty good and had everything you needed from fruit, to full english and pastries, drinks. Dinner was excellent and a good choice of dishes.

The hotel has some nice views, clean and wearing face mask is compulsory in all public areas of the hotel. However, we did find the service at the restaurant quite military and we did not feel relaxed at all. They have a nice open terrace which we could not use, once you sat at a table and wanted to change for a better one with nice views - you could not because they could not bother to sanitise the one we sat at again (made me think why I'm paying for this). The lady was like we cannot swap tables and if you want you can have your drinks in your room - who wants to stay in the room when you are away on a staycation? For breakfast you always had to wear your mask unless you are eating. The option would have been table service which I would have preferred (like other hotels we visited did) and more relaxed on wearing the face mask. I understand that there are restrictions with the pandemic and we are all trying to be careful but you also want to have a nice enjoyable stay.
