The hotel itself is super cute and has incredible views! We are travellers that are morning risers and like to get a full day of walking/sightseeing and then we like to enjoy an evening dinner at the hotel and to sit and enjoy the patio/balcony to rest up for the next day. We booked this place because it was out of the busy city and because there was a restaurant attached. When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closing for lunch & dinners for the season the day after we arrived. The hotel never informed us in advance there would be no restaurant during our stay. I went down to front desk on our day of arrival and confirmed with them that the restaurant would be open for one last dinner that night. So we went down for dinner and they let us order drinks then when we tried to order they told us everything we tried to order wAs not available because they are closing tomorrow. There was nothing to order and now we had drinks that we would NOT have ordered as we had to leave and try to find somewhere else to eat close by (because of time of year and being out of the city was limited). They made sure they charged us 16 Euro for the 2 drinks as well. Also the bed in the room was so uncomfortably hard. On our 2nd last day we woke up to having no water and no apology or warning. When we asked they said it might be back on early this afternoon. We had no showers or toilet to use and no apology. We ended up forfeiting our last nights paid room to go elsewhere.

Homely, warm, friendly ..... don't miss this one!
We booked this hotel just the day before we went as were elsewhere and we were not happy with the hotel we were in. Thankfully Carrubba had a room for us. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, we were made to feel welcome. It is very friendly, everyone has a smile on their face and go out of their way to make you have a wonderful time. I wished we could have stayed longer. Our room, on the top floor, was comfortable, nice big bed and a sofa plus fabulous views over the water. Very quiet, very pretty. We did not eat our evening meal there because there was a wedding ... we could have but we wanted to eat earlier than they could accommodate us so we went to their recommendation down the road and had a perfectly great evening. Breakfast was set up outside overlooking the bay and the choice of fare was good. Not the usual buffet but a more personal service, which was refreshing. And always service with a smile. Loved it !

A little gem in Montenegro!
Fantastic hotel surrounded by raw natural beauty and beautiful scenery. Attention to detail was very evident and the staff were so friendly and professional. The cleanliness was superb.
