It was fun and functional.
Visited for a few days in January. The best thing about the hotel is that it is right off Taipei Main Station, this includes the Airport MRT, Taipei MRT, Taipei HSR and Train station. The hotel is cutesy with every thing themed out. The room is small but highly functional. Free breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Staff were polite and room was clean. Good deal.

Great budget boutique hotel w/fantastic breakfast
My husband and I were visiting Taipei this past week for a wedding and touring the sites. We wanted to stay in a hotel that had a local/boutique feel but not spend crazy amounts for the trip. We found Bee House - a great find with superior service. The lobby has a small bakery/restaurant that serves great lattes, omelettes, and breaded goodies that get your day started on a great foot. There are maps to help you figure out where to go whether it’s cultural, night market, or shopping. The staff is super helpful, and the rooms are clean, efficient, and comfy - albeit a bit small with thin walls - bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. There’s laundry and a child’s play area on the top floor and a place to leave your luggage if you arrive early or depart late. Wifi is free and reliable. The walk from Taipei Main Station MRT is about 10 minutes, and shorter to get to the airport train. We highly recommend this place.

Everything was perfect. They took care of a lot of details. Even got a scale in the small lobby for luggage. Only complaint was the size of room. No room for two adults and two suitcases. Other than that and no view, it was a wonderful stay.
