Stay there for 1 night before the cruise to Halong Bay, located at Tuan Chau Island, slightly far from the city center, very quite place in the evening, nothing much to eat unless you take a taxi to the city center where there are many seafood restaurants at reasonable price. The room is clean, the bed is big and comfortable, and the breakfast is great. If you are a EPL fans, their in room TV do board cast EPL live matches.

The buildings are quite new. We were put in the Paradise Comfort Suites because we came early. We were not planning on checking in yet as we have a tour and could have left our luggage in storage until check in time. We were informed that we have been upgraded to a bigger room but is much too plain compared to the room on the photos. We were not happy and felt outcasted in the building they out us in as it seems we were the only ones staying there. The entrance was dark and nobody in the lobby. It was quite eerie.

Worst hotel on our 2 week Vietnam trip
The atmosphere and look is very artificial and cold. Not what we expected when staying at Halong Bay. Breakfast is sub-par compared to other hotel breakfasts we had. The food attendants have poor hygiene as they kept wiping their noses and sneezing around the food. Rare to see staff openly dirty around food. Should've stayed 1 night or taken a day trip to Halong from Hanoi.

False misrepresentation on Hotels.com as with the location of the pool...over 3km away from the hotel..Hotel denied/argued this factor.. Noisy continuous thoroughfare of buses/traffic to Marina right next to the pool. Disjointed hotel arranged over 4 different buildings.a very odd setup only normally accustomed to a resort. OK hotel if you like staying within an assortment of diffrrent building sites.

The staff were incredibly helpful and make you feel special! It was like being at a 5-star resort. We also took advantage of the on site spa and it was so relaxing and the therapists are in my opinion better well trained than in the US. Thank you, Paradise for an amazing holiday!

The location sucks, there nothing to do around there. You can honestly just stay there for a day or two and finish exploring Ha long. Also the staff didn’t even assist us with looking for places to visit, had to do it on our own. Also they kept my Passport which was weird considering all other hotels I’ve stayed at just made a copy and that was the end of it. The hotel wasn’t as advertised and the location is still under construction. The hotel breakfast was good though and the bathroom was beautiful. Wish there was more to do.
