Two nights stay
Had two meals one fish and chips salad looks a week old. One steak half cooked one end raw left half of it, still old salad. NOT GOOD FOOD i did tell the waitress but nothing was done.Room old but comfortable 47 stairs up and down killed me,, lol. They have a happy hour but the beer I wanted wasnt on it,, full price for hanns super,??? Staff not helpfull, couldnt care less altitude, check in was good, about the only thing that was good.

This is very much a pub/restaurant with a hotel attached. The vibe is quite liberal with the university across the road. Perhaps I should have looked into it further, but I was disappointed to have a room that barely fit a bed for the price I paid ($85). Still, the room was clean and everything I needed was close by, but I was hoping for more. If you are happy with a clean room but little more (for this price), in a lovely location, then this will be fine for you. If you want more, then full en suite etc is available, but expect to pay for it.

We cancelled our booking on arrival as the room we were offered did not meet the expectation that was represented at the time of booking. We expected an en suite only to be told that we would be sharing a bathroom with others. This was not made known on the online booking site.
