Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort

Loved the ease of the shuttle and getting to the parks one hour earlier. The resort room was very clean and spacious enough for our family of four. It was cold for swimming in December but the pool would’ve been awesome any other time. The view from top floor in Beachside was amazing!

Too little bedding

I stayed here with 2 friends for the weekend and we all loved it! The bed and pillows were really comfy and soft. The person who checked us in was really nice and informative. We arrived at 10pm and check in did take around 30ish mins. I was honestly surprised how many people were checking in but it would make sense if you take into account that people do the parks and citywalk first before checking in. We thought it was really neat that our names were printed on our hotel room keys (we each got one) and we got to keep them. Check out was super easy. We didn't have to go to the desk to check out which was very convenient. I look forward to staying here again and exploring the resort more.

Hotel is beautiful, staff is great, but walls are thin can hear neighbors clearly and they have a blanket with a sheet on either side no cozy comforter and no matter how much we turned ac up we froze all night. Fyi not a covid thing it was like that when we stayed there several years ago, we forgot.

Love staying at Cabana Bay . The atmosphere is so fun and up beat . Total retro vibe .

We love the food!

Elizabeth from Melbourne, FL at the front desk is absolutely AMAZING! Universal staff is always great but she went above and beyond! She was very personable and professional. I was checking in for my second night since I booked both nights separately and she proactively asked if I needed more towels or toiletries in my room. My first room key had my name and my guest’s name spelled incorrectly, she apologized, replaced the keys and even let me pick whichever character card I wanted! Little gestures and a positive attitude go a long way and leave a lasting impression. I am a Customer Service Supervisor and if she came to interview I would hire her in a heartbeat! She is a true gem and an asset to your company!

Always a good stay here! Great rooms and amazing service! I love that this resort as so many fun amenities and has shuttles to the parks!

Our building had out of date snacks in the machine. Had to walk a long distance to get back to the lobby. Beautiful overlook of volcano bay.

Cabana bay is a family fun place with early access to Universal. Cons: Long walk to park your car and get to your room...parking costs a lot so be prepared for that. Pros: Love the retro vibe.
