A great stay, we have now visited twice, the location is perfect over looking the ocean. It is a small boutique hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing, the hotel has a nice pool balcony. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. I really recommend this property for a relaxing couple of days but still close to Cape Town and the main hiking routes in the region.

Had a great stay here- felt like home away from home. Loved the communal kitchen area which always had home baked cake and refreshments available. Although the pool area is small- it was never busy and the views were just spectacular. The staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive. The area is a great area to stay in for exploring Cape Town- not too far from anything. Thanks russ Georgia and team- we’ll be recommending you!

I stayed at 52 De Wet for 5 nights when visiting Cape Town and greatly enjoyed my visit. The property is beautiful and you can't beat the views here. The location was convenient for us, as even though it's not very walkable, Ubers were easily available and very cheap around the area. There were plenty of restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. The staff/owners were very nice and accommodating and gave us great recommendations for dinners and other activities in Cape Town.

This is easily Cape Town's best kept secret! Classy and homely at the same time. The staff were very nice, friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make you happy. I had an urgent dry-cleaning request and they made sure I had my jacket back by the time I needed it. The views are breathtaking as well especially when the sun is out. The area is peaceful and perfect for a hike and long walks. There isn't a 24-hour on-site restaurant but they can have meals cooked for you on request or you can easily order from Uber eats if you aren't able to go out. Breakfast is also made every morning by the kitchen staff, who also bake the best cookies. I only stayed for one night and my only regret is that I wish I had stayed longer.

52 de Wet was beyond amazing. I have no words for exactly how amazing this place is; I felt at home despite being over 9,000 miles away from home. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Russell gave multiple recommendations, all of which I would have been hard pressed to get from other hotels/B&B's. The other staff were welcoming and always available for anything needed whether it is a glass of some wonderful wine (with serving suggestions) or just a chat. The food is also fabulous. One of the most amazing features was the view from the balcony/pool/breakfast table. I was actually able to watch whales in ocean at breakfast...how amazing! I will never get over how breathtaking the view from the balcony is at 52 de Wet.

Had an amazing 2 night stay here. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and in a quiet area of Bantry Bay. Only a short drive from Cape Town. Would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic boutique hotel, in a very nice area. A little bit of a walk to the main tourist areas however just a few minutes in a Uber and worth being that little bit out of the way for the quality of service provided. Rooms clean and bright with excellent views, free breakfast every morning was delicious with both hot and cold options. The staff go out of their way to help with restaurant recommendations and bookings. Would definitely return!
